  1. As I posted on another thread, buy this man a drink if you see him.
  2. James Collins of Swindon Town - if you see him, buy him a drink.
  3. Merson lives in the midlands by the way.
  4. Reading have almost gone backwards from last season. They're playing exactly the same, hit and hope, with less of the quality that they showed in their good run last season. McDermott can't be that bad a manager, if perhaps letting himself down by refusing to adapt his team's style, so I'm not sure what any better a manager could do with that Reading team. It's easily the worst in the division.
  5. Amazing work by his agent. QPR thing they've pulled off a coup by signing him, in reality he showed a long time ago at Chelsea that he's not suited to this league and isn't really all that good. Agent convinces them if they pay top dollar he'll sign for them when I bet there was next to no one queuing up for his signature. Never really rated Mark Hughes as that good a manager - his judgement of players is a bit off too. This will be the one people remember,or maybe Jo at Man City, rather than say Roque Santa Cruz at Blackburn.
  6. Not sure I agree with that. I was more focusing on Fulham's terrible away record over recent years. Even under Roy Hodgson they barely won away from home.
  7. Fulham winning away is a sign of the apocalypse.
  8. Didn't think there was much said that was wrong if I'm honest. Are QPR bigger than us? There's not a lot in it, is there? Would Joleon Lescott come to us? Don't think so. Would he go to QPR? They do seem capable of signing players on stupid wages, Granero and Bosingwa etc. The only thing I would take exception to is the whole 'Loftus Road is a great place to play' - so what? 50% of the games they play won't even be at Loftus Road. Are we in trouble unless we get a defender? Probably, as whilst Yoshida has improved, if he gets injured, what happens? Can we afford a really good defender? Possibly. Would a top defender want to come to a club that could be in the Championship in six months time? It's difficult. McInally was indeed ill-informed, as Crab Lungs said. He clearly hasn't seen much of us since the early part of the season when we were in the headlines for the City and United games. We've improved a lot, and he hasn't seen it. I don't quite understand the reaction to it all on here - Merson even said he was wrong about Lambert.
  9. Oh dear. Did you even read that post properly? Twonk.
  10. I'd never be so shortsighted as to write QPR off. It's not as if they're totally out of touch, and especially not when we're blowing two goal leads and overly reliant on a couple of players - Lallana and Lambert. I would urge an awful lot of caution.
  11. Some great chanting from the home fans: "We lose every week, we lose every week, you're nothing special, we lose every week."
  12. Butland is pretty error-prone... Like Davis. He has potential though I suppose... Like Gazzaniga.
  13. It might be getting a liiittle bit sad...
  14. I never said I was an expert on fitness, nor did I say that was the actual problem. I'm saying that you have no idea what Nigel Adkins is thinking, so to say he's been left out because he's definitely 'sh!t' in the eyes of a former goalkeeper who brought him to the club is a bit much. FFS.
  15. They can bid for him all they want. That's fine. They can't have him though. With regards to Moose, he's a massive c*nt. He still thinks Billy Sharp is a diver, and that this never happened:
  16. So out of the thousands of reasons it could be, you've considered all of them and decided Nigel Adkins thinks a player he himself brought in is 'sh!t' It can't be to do with him not having a proper pre-season, being unfit, anything like that? I forget I'm posting on a forum full of mind readers.
  17. Again, how is that obvious?
  18. Blimey, an amazing array of opinions here, and hardly any of them based in fact! He was never wanted here. Nigel doesn't like him. He's an embarrassment. Christ, imagine if we had fans on the board. We'd be in the Wessex Premier with AFC Skates.
  19. I'm not faulting him for anything he's said. I want him to leave though.
  20. They've got a big Hampshire derby next season. Aldershot. Commence the laughter.
  21. So that's made more realistic whilst they let you choose your own Director of Football then give authority of him to someone else?
  22. He's hardly going to say he's crap is he? Sell him to a Dutch or Belgian team. Try and get as much money back as possible.
  23. Again, why did they have to mess around with that? It's a massive step backwards. One of the reasons why I've washed my hands with it. There are changes for the sake of changes and that'll only continue.
  24. Already doomed. We've got a YouTube link for him. Anyone learnt from the Steve de Ridder episode?
  25. Installed passion? Is that like a service pack update or something? I've had a Mac for a few years now.
