  1. tbf there is NO questioning that.
  2. frankly all is forgiven - an instant hero scoring at krap nottarf.
  3. Best of luck in the future Jan, i think right guy, wrong time...
  4. ...has been making his excuses again. I would love to see him take Spurs down and be shown up for the blagging chancer that he is. He is without doubt a major reason why we are in the championship. On the bright side, this made me laugh! http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8751_4832802,00.html
  5. i'd keep jan and change the rest
  6. Even so, i would be very appreciative if you could fill me in on the strong rumour.

i thought he looked assured and composed for most of the game. He will prove to be an inspired signing - he's a defender in the mould of Lundekvam.
  8. we had the best of the play in the first half, although donny had some decent chances themselves. Their goals were soft, but i believe that the first was offside. Once they had scored the lads looked like they had the weight of the world on their shoulders - much like the England team do at Wembley - you could see them tensing up. As we all know, England have quality players that are for whatever reason inhibited when they pull on the 3 lions shirt. It was exactly the same at sms as soon as the goal went in. This scenario is not the fault of the management, more a symptom of the situation the club finds itself in. I like Jan and think he could do a decent job in better circumstances, however now more than ever i wish we had a pearson esque character calling the shots and looking after the young players.
  9. Please please please PM me about the rumours about JP are. I've been a firm supporter of his given the constraints on him. I'd be interested if my opinions of him are misguided.
  10. from the sky sports review of Reading v Watford... Kebe played in Rosenior down the right and his cross was criminally not cut out by Jack Cork in front of Loach to allow Doyle to flick in his 17th - and easiest - of the campaign from three yards. Does anyone need reminding that we took Reading to school at times at their place and could and perhaps should have beaten them at ours? Don't let the facts get in the way of a good moan eh?!!
  11. And no guarantee that he would go to be in a reserve team
  12. JP is brilliant, Chelsea / Man U at home!! Love it.
  13. You have almost 2000 posts, you obviously have a really fulfilling life! And I think you'll find you were disparaging about me first, so perhaps you should practice what you preach grandad.
  14. It took you that long to come up with that response? Not worth waiting for really. I think'll you find if you really think about what i've written - it may be a stretch for you admittedly - you'll realise none of it was contradictory. I'll leave you to play in your own little fantasy land, where your opinion on things actually matters.
  15. You do appear to be quite sensitive about this so maybe i touched a nerve... I don't profess to know about all of the internal happenings at SMS but then there is no point asking me anyway, i'm just a "blind-folded, over-enthusiastic puppy in a bonio factory". LOL Some of the drivel, opinion and assumption banded around on here as fact make me laugh my nuts off. If i'm ignorant, at least i'm intelligent enough to realise it.
  16. Now i see!
  17. Another good one
  18. i don't think he's milked millions out of us down the years. Just his salary - whcih 99% of chairmen would take. Dividends have been virtually non existent and the club has not turned a porper profit for years. There has been NO milking.
  19. Player wages will not influence turnover though. Just cost of revenue and profit.
  20. Merchandise must figure an awful lot. lets not forget that Leeds have the largest fanbase in the country based on the poulation of the city of leeds.
  21. Good shout!
  22. No it hadn't escaped me, but you people are always inanely banging on about finance / political issues / conspiracy theories. When frankly, what you actually know about these things could be written on the back of a postage stamp.
  23. They have a turnover af £23m we have £13-14m. That's what a difference a large fanbase makes.
  24. WTF has Stoneham got to with things?! I support a football club that has had to keep evolving to survive, it is now a Plc but it is still the club i support. FFS! We have an important game tomorrow, lets all hope we win and can get some momentum for a push up the table. Enjoy the rollercoaster ride that is football, life is too short to worry about things beyond our control. Lets make the best of what we have and support the team. COYR!
  25. Maybe we should all buy half season tickets then. That way we can afford to keep the players and they will have awsome support to back them. Just a thought
