Even so, i would be very appreciative if you could fill me in on the strong rumour.

i thought he looked assured and composed for most of the game. He will prove to be an inspired signing - he's a defender in the mould of Lundekvam.

we had the best of the play in the first half, although donny had some decent chances themselves. Their goals were soft, but i believe that the first was offside. Once they had scored the lads looked like they had the weight of the world on their shoulders - much like the England team do at Wembley - you could see them tensing up. As we all know, England have quality players that are for whatever reason inhibited when they pull on the 3 lions shirt. It was exactly the same at sms as soon as the goal went in. This scenario is not the fault of the management, more a symptom of the situation the club finds itself in. I like Jan and think he could do a decent job in better circumstances, however now more than ever i wish we had a pearson esque character calling the shots and looking after the young players.

Please please please PM me about the rumours about JP are. I've been a firm supporter of his given the constraints on him. I'd be interested if my opinions of him are misguided.

i don't think he's milked millions out of us down the years. Just his salary - whcih 99% of chairmen would take. Dividends have been virtually non existent and the club has not turned a porper profit for years. There has been NO milking.

Player wages will not influence turnover though. Just cost of revenue and profit.

Merchandise must figure an awful lot. lets not forget that Leeds have the largest fanbase in the country based on the poulation of the city of leeds.

No it hadn't escaped me, but you people are always inanely banging on about finance / political issues / conspiracy theories. When frankly, what you actually know about these things could be written on the back of a postage stamp.

They have a turnover af £23m we have £13-14m. That's what a difference a large fanbase makes.

WTF has Stoneham got to with things?! I support a football club that has had to keep evolving to survive, it is now a Plc but it is still the club i support. FFS! We have an important game tomorrow, lets all hope we win and can get some momentum for a push up the table. Enjoy the rollercoaster ride that is football, life is too short to worry about things beyond our control. Lets make the best of what we have and support the team. COYR!
