With his hands untied he could be OK. I reckon he would have saved us if he'd been allowed to do what he wanted, without all the disasters going on in the background.

So lets get this right. SLH was set up so that if it went into admin SFC would not get a points deduction! SLH was set up in January 1997? When did the points deduction system come in?? At the time was a Premiership Club so not accountable to Football League or it's penalties anyway.

To totally stuff the club that's why; in my opinion.

I think the really annoying thing about this is that Lowe didn't put us into admin sooner. rather have the 10 points deduct this season rather than next, we're going down anyway !!!

Agreed, the best thing Lowe could have done is to stay away, in my opinion he was divisive since he didn't have the foresight to keep on investing after the FA cup final. Then we had 2 ways to go, and he chose to not to go to the next level. At the end of the day the buck stops with the MD/Chairman and his arrogance at not accepting that, caused him to be the hate figure of a lot of the fan base. If he wanted to come back on the board he should never have come back as chairman, it was an automatic cause for about 5000 fans to stay away. Also the Dutch fiasco this time round was purely his fault. So 2 tenures as chairman and 2 relegations. Nuf Said

Yes but he also didn't do a share rights issue, which might of brought more money into the club!!! Crouch wanted to invest another £2 million if Wilde and Lowe had agreed to do the same. Might of saved the PLC etc.

The thing I don't understand. Owner of Club goes bust. (ie Man City, from memory) Sells club to help fund bankruptcy, no points deduction. PLC owner of club goes into admin. ( Saints ) Sells Club, possible points deduction. Why??

Depends on how good the Administrator is. If he really good we may get away with no points, as Southampton FC Ltd. is not actually in admin at the moment , as far as i'm aware.
