I don't understand what all the kerfuffle is about. I had no problems. Got to SMS at 7.15, queued for 5 minutes and got tickets in the Itchen. As we went through the turnstiles the stewards started closing up the gates, apparently it was full. Made it to the bar with plenty of time. :cool:

Agreed. Alan Moore is without doubt one of the best writers this country has produced in the last 40 years but nobody has managed to do justice to his work when adapting it for the screen. I don't think Moore has been happy enough with any film adaptation to put his name on it. V for Vendetta was an OK film in it's own right but didn't come up to scratch. From Hell is an astounding book; deeper and darker than a coal mine..... the film was....OK. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was a superb premise for a series of novels........ the film with Sean Connery was woeful.

Reason being...... It is over-produced to the point of sounding pre-fabricated or 'out-of-the-box' like some p1sspoor frozen meal by Findus. It ain't raw. It's got no soul. The poor "tainted love" stolen hook has been done a thousand times before, a thousand times better. All IMHO obviously.
