  1. Thought he looked like the honeymonster!! Top man.
  2. I know we are in league 1 but I think this season is going to be really exciting, so so looking forward to it. Although I'm sure we will get a couple of new players the most important and exciting thing is that AP is manager. COYR
  3. AP seems like he knows what we all know from the Ajax game, the organisation and positioning was rubbish, good stuff.
  4. Citys owner cant spent a billion every couple of seasons, I feel he may see what he can do and then leave them in the... If he can't sell them which I feel he wont be able to do because of there debt (he could pay outright why get in debt and pay extra) because he can spend the money and then leave them in deep poo. Saying that I'm no finance expert just my point of view, for me stability is most important. We are no world-wide brand, but I do feel we can perform at the highest level with the right management with the required support. COYR
  5. Good read, http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/chris-mcgrath-weeks-until-season-starts-four-players-left-14-pompey-face-quite-a-conundrum-1751432.html
  6. I thought it was a great turn out, COYR
  7. Same as, I stayed for the new owner. It wasnt much to ask really he saved the club! I am so so thankfull, thought it was a great croud though. COYR
  8. I'm looking forward to what AP can do COYR
  9. Did feel we played so so deep, esp at the end, AJAX were bound to score. Defence needs some real organisation AJAX worked us out and its called a through ball. Some players impressed, some didn't. Think AP can do alot of good this season providing he gets a few new players, I thought the crowd was really good and did us all proud. COYR
  10. Me too mate, suppose portsmouth think they live in heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both citys have places I'd probably avoid. I'd say a night out in Southampton if alot safer though.
  11. Suit yourself mate, I'm well happy, bring on the season COYR.
  12. Could not poss feel better about how this whole thing has gone. COYR
  13. Yes yes yes, really good choice. Cant wait for the new season now this is great news. COYR
  14. Even if he got us scoring goals like this;
  15. Agree
  16. I was not sure, but looking further into his profile and how well he has done in the past when given the support required. What he did at West Ham was impressive, he got a really good team working wide football putting the ball into the box really well. And Reading didnt want him to go did they! Would he come to Div 1? I dont know, but I for one pray he does.
  17. He was really good in the interview and I also watched the 'fight wenger vs pardew' and I would love to say if he had us playing with that passion then happy days. I really really hope we can get him (dont know if this is a wind up) COYR
  18. Maybe its about establishing the system to build up a relationship.
  19. In fact after alot of thinking, I recon AP would do really well, he had done fantastic with some teams and is still young for a good manager (bit more to learn maybe). In our division to have him would be really good. COYR
  20. I want who is best for the job, not sure about AP but if it is him he will get my full support, at least he gets the players fit and putting the effort in. COYR
  21. Nice, I'm in Itchen. Not sure I'll be singing we're itchen, we are itchen! Funney if we did though
