Actually I'm overthinking it aren't I, if Palace won the cup then 7th wouldn't mean a European spot so wouldn't matter what Liverpool do in Europa final I.e. 6th is fine regardless. Thing is IF we finish 6th we still need to hope West Ham finish above Liverpool - think I'm right in saying that if we're 6th, Liverpool 7th, Palace win FA Cup, and Liverpool win Europa, that 6th wouldn't get Europa (I.e. 5 CL spots and 2 Europa which would be 5th place and Palace)... right?
