Clearly boll*xs as I enjoyed L1 more than any football since the 80s and have said so all along. Adrian mentions clubs, all of whom are way, way bigger than Saints (bar Blackburn who had a very rich sugar daddy) and how many of them have competed without spending £100s of millions? None.

It is. Money has seen to that. On our rise from L1 we used our draw and financial muscle to get the players we wanted. Now we are on the end of it. Clubs like ours are competing to avoid a relegation battle/finish mid-table and that's why going balls out in the cups SHOULD be a priority.

They've certainly been able to suck in the protest vote and have ran an effective campaign so fair play to them.
