I'm willing to wager £10 for charity that after the GE they have no more than 2 MPs. I expect 1 but I'll be generous.
-
Oh the irony.
-
Crikey. The tories and Libs are taking a right kicking.
-
To some, yes. Those who I've spoken to today certainly seem to have, in the main, voted differently in the 2 seperate elections, perhaps as as high as 5-1-1 voting traditionl/protest, traditional/traditional or protest/protest. Older ages seem to have gone UKIP as protest and the youngsters seem to have gone Green. It's certainly made for healthy debate with the students.
-
It's quite easy actually as it's perfectly clear that plenty of people have voted "traditionally" in the local elections but cast a protest vote in the European. Still, don't let that worry your tiny mind.
-
Perfectly fine argument. Sky are saying how they are making great stride in Labour's heartlands when the results at the moment, bar a few blips, clearly show otherwise. The tories and Libs and taking an utter kicking and Labour isn't in the locals. The Euros, I suspect, will see all the main 3 taking a hiding.

They did so well in B'ham that they won the grand total of 0 seats.
-
UKIP fella explained Lodon results because the electorate was young, diverse and educated.

"No Planes Hit The Twin Towers" claims ex-CIA agent

That is what has been suspected, that or the Capitol Building. -
They way experts were talking you'd have thought that whole swathes of northern England was going to turn purple or NOC & that simply hasn't happened and in London they've run riot. All this inspite of Ed'! TBF, I'm much more interested in Sunday.
-
More than enough to win next May.
-
They've done more than enough, certainly more than I expected. Their core vote as remained whilst UKIP has made gains from the tories and Libs. Try and spin it anyway you want, but it's the tories and Libs who've taken a hammering in the local elections whilst I fully expect all three of the "main" parties to take a kicking in the results on Sunday.
-
Labour have gained 102 seats so far whilst the tories have lost 97, the Liberials have lost 99 and UKIP gained 89. How's that Labour getting hammered? They've actually done better than expected.
-
Local radio suggests 25% turnout around here. Pathetic if true.
-
We've just walked up to ours in Stafford and it was hammering down and the station quiet. I did enquire if they'd been busy and they did say that it had been busier than they expected.

I'd love to hear Pap's theory of how the US Govt/Secret World Govt/Rogue Elements/Mossad pulled off 9/11 and why no top investigative journalist has unearthed the greatest conspiracy the modern world has ever known. -
If I lived in Soton, or South of the M4, I'd have a ST regardless of who pulls the shirt on, who's in the boardroom or who's in the dug out. We are the club.

I watched a cracking program on NG the other night about the 9/11 truthers. Now I have a very open mind about the Pentagon attack and and really don't buy the offical version of events but listening to the truthers was laughable. They were banging on about a controlled demolition but when a number of demolition firms kicked that theory into touch the truthers argument turned to "they are in on it too." Pathetic. -
He's proven over the years that's it's not malice, just thickness.

How will you be voting on Thursday in the Euro and local elections?
View From The Top replied to TopGun's topic in The Lounge
Green. They support calls for a referendum and are pro-Europe but anti-EU which is exactly my position. They are also left wing, unlike Labour. -
I wouldn't be shocked to find that AL had a clause allowing him to leave for a fee of £xxx in any of the top teams came in for him. He's certainly off, I just hope it's after the WC.

Worst is Manchester when the obese northern unwashed are rammed in like sardines awaiting their cattle flights to Magaluf or some other god forsaken sh*thole. T5 is excellent as is HK.

Love the way you just make things up.
