Saints cannot compete with the ambitions, draw or financial muscle of the big clubs. Those thinking we can are, frankly, deluded.

He is never going to be worth £60m. Never. He's no Bale, more of a Pearce or Samson. Yes, demand more but please, spare us the old "we have no need to sell" bull. If a player wants to go, they go.

Answering a question with a question clearly means that you can't find me an example.
-
£30 maybe, £35 would be an outstanding amount of money and, dare I say it, good business.
-
£27m for an 18yo left back is laughable? I'm sure you can find examples of other LBs going for that sort of money.

Ralph Krueger's end of season interview

Yes I listened to it and unlike you I live in the real world and not some alternative universe where we are some super team with £100m to spend. TBF my 12yo nipper has a better grasp of reality than most of you. -

& whose spending is to blame? Oh yes, NC. You also forget it wasn't his money he was spending and that he quit, walked out, bottled it. -

The only people who don't get it are the morons who believed all the UCL bull. Lallana is at the peak of his powers and wants to win things and play in the UCL and we are NEVER going to be able to offer players that, not with the financial muscle the big clubs have compared to us. So many Saints fans are so 'kin thick. -
I'm a leftie and have similar feelings regarding Labour (I'll vote Green) and find myself in a Pro-Europe but not Pro-EU Institutions position. The only options appear to be "in" or "out".
-
‘In order to try to reach their level we need to have a major international budget resourcing and try to match them on their own terms.’ - 'kin dream on.

He knows less than the mongs on here.

Doffs cap accordingly.

Shows how much attention I paid!

We were all asked as to whether we wanted PR and the Right campaigned hard for a no vote. If they had voted for it then UKIP could have had a genuine chance to shake things up come May 15. Alas for them they will be shouting stuff about a People's Army as they win a maximum of 1 seat. The Establishment is quaking.
-
Don't worry, the People's Army will sort it out after they storm to power in May 2015, or something.
-
I posed the question earlier; I wonder how many UKIP voters voted against PR?
-
It's a PR election so your vote does count.

The highs that stick in my mind are special because I shared them with my son but they are, in no particular order: All away games. MKD - Just for that goal. Brighton - Going absolutely nuts in out garden when Jose scored as we were BBQing and my Wolves supporting neighbour sticking his head over the wall giving us the thumbs up. Orient - Sunshine and a wall of noise from Saints fans. Brentford - Nippers down the front, dads at the back. Plymouth - Seeing my nippers face when we scored was priceless and his joy made me cry. Leicester - We lost but we walked away knowing that we were going up. I seriously knew then how good we were. Skate Bas*ards - Nipper asking why there were empty seats and why they weren't singing. Millwall - One of the best, if not the best, away day I've ever done. The perfect away day. City - When SRL scored and we went 'kin mental it was a release of the years of pain & struggle. SRL - I cried when he scored against the jocks. The lows. Being priced out in the BPL.
-
They want withdrawal though. That's not my default position; to me it's a position of last result.

I'm perfectly aware of his point.
