  1. As I posted earlier, I wrote to the club regarding pricing for kids once they turn 12, to be told it's £300 behind the goals because the cost of living in the south is greater than the north! Similar tickets at Stoke & WBA are around £75. At Wolves, next season in the SBC (it was the same set up in the BPL) if would be around £50.
  2. I think so. Money is tight for many and once people are out of the habit of going it's hard to get them back. I could have had free tickets today but I couldn't see the point in paying to get down to Soton & back for an early KO when it's on TV. I've watched every game I wanted to this season, in HD, on my sofa with my lad. That's best part of £1000 on tickets + expenses + time saved. I'm certainly not alone in doing this. Quite a few exiles, with kids over 11, are now adopting this pattern. Northern & Midland away games with the occasional London game thrown in is all we will do in the future plus a home game, if I can use Corky's STs when visiting family.
  3. Clyne has certainly upped his game since losing his place to Chambers. Personally I feel that Chambers is the better player going towards our goal and Clyne the better going towards the opposition. I'd certainly take Shaw & Clyne to Brazil.
  4. The club are haemorrhaging support from families whose kids are over 11 as the jump in prices is huge. I know of plenty who have gone from ST holders to occasional home fans. Myself included. I wrote to the club not so long ago about the issue and asked why Stoke & WBA can charge £75 for a 12yo lad but Saints charge £300. In the reply I was told it's because the cost of living is greater in the south.
  5. Pre - Sunderland in the FAC 8/10, maybe even a 9. Post Sunderland 5/10 Good to hear from the club regarding players/manager even if the hard of thinking think it should have been someone else delivering the exact same message that the chairman delivered last week.
  6. We can fully expect to be in one IMHO.
  7. I'm willing to wager that light bends around you.
  8. You sad f**k. Check out their ride website, all the details are there. Everyone connected to the skates knows about the ride and a 50:50 split, when the split was & for what reason but a bunch of increasingly bitter no marks think it's some sort of conspiracy. We mock the crap that the skates write on their messageboards but this thread is turning into a stream of small minded, bitter rants; the same sort that you condemn them for.
  9. Recommended to be taken about 2hrs before for endurance cycling. Not tried it myself. What brands do you use and where from??
  10. I was just wondering what foods/drinks people use to aid recovery after exercise? Anything anyone particularly recommend?
  11. Because the ride was originally planned as a fund raiser for the club & they had raised around £8k when they heard about the kid. They then decided to go 50:50 with the charity. They didn't have to, they could have done sweet FA and just continued to fund raise for the club, but they chose to & good luck to them for doing so.
  12. Bo**oxs. They did it so they could help a dying child but some of you c**ts are so tied up in your blind hatred that you cannot even bring yourselves you recognise that they are capable are trying to do something good & decent.
  13. Turned into a thread full off sad 'kin losers.
  14. Get a 'kin grip ladies. The skates originally planned to do the ride for community shares. Fair enough. They then hear about the poor kid & decide to give 50% of anything they raise to the lads charity. Personally I think that is great so pull your head out of your arses and stop acting like c**ts.
  15. That just about sums it up for me.
  16. The white lines can get very slippy so perhaps the bunnyhop is to avoid the possibility of the wheel going from underneath him. Either way, they are nuts.
  17. 80.1 kmph (49 mph) is my fastest downhill and I clocked 77.4 kmph (48mph) yesterday. I love balls out downhills.
  18. Working in Stoke I'm really not surprised at their teenage birth rate.
  19. Wouldn't want Moyes, he's far too negative. If we were to lose MP Rosler would be my choice.
  20. Perhaps we don't give a f**k if your plastic mate goes or not nor do we have a problem with how the club manages home ticket sales FFS.
  21. Marshall & Holtby and perhaps Redmond.
  22. Dalek & Dune take that viewpoint as well. They are also c**ts.
  23. Personally I thought it excellent and amusing. The fact that they've bitten like f**k and no matter what they do it will look petty after yesterday & let's face it, nothing they can say has an impact as the simple refrain is WTFILN.
  24. I thought him excellent today.
  25. I love the way we play football. Joy to watch.
