  1. Good point. Up until the BPL it really did feel as if we were "all in it together".
  2. TBF I think an awful lot of people have exactly the same stance. For me, and many like me, who are left wing, Pro-Europe but most certainly not Pro-EU, we have no choices at all.
  3. They are voting simply as a protest. Nothing more. Don't forget though, it's a "People's Army" marching to victory, or something.
  4. The ball is very clearly in the boards court. Personally I believe he'll go as will 3-4 top players and we will be battling relegation all next season.
  5. The highlights for me were L1 and the NPC. Being able to go week after week with my nipper all over the country, easily getting well priced tickets was a joy. Proper fans, proper grounds and proper prices. I can't say I've really enjoyed the BPL and the mongs lapping up the CL bull and believing we should spunk millions trying to be a club that we never can be.
  6. Brilliant and very true.
  7. Be interesting to know how many UKIP supporters voted against PR.
  8. We were always going to be a club merely making up the numbers. Only utter mugs ever believed differently. We're 8th. 7th would have been amazing and 6th beyond anything deemed believable. Anything above that is simply impossible but NC said it was going to happen and the hard of thinking lapped it up. Our aim should be the cups.
  9. Excuse? Where have I given an excuse? I've stated a naked fact; f**k all matters apart from a GE. UKIP & Greens will benefit from mass protest votes; UKIPs driven by their anti-immigration message, nothing more and the established parties know it. Keep pretending you're part of some "people's army". I'm sure it's very exciting for you.
  10. Because these elections are worth f**k all. I'll vote Green, and they'll do well because of PR but does it mean anything? Does it f**k. Only the GE means anything and neither UKIP or Greens will make any impact at all and anyone, of any ilk who thinks otherwise is living in LaLa land. Also, you make the classic mistake of confusing pro-Europe with pro-EU.
  11. People's army shakes things up? Oh dear. When it really matters, at a General Election, they will walk away with nothing. The only people that seem actually interested or bothered about this election coming is UKIPers as if they are going to make a difference, which they won't.
  12. You could say they done well despite Sakho being a 1st team regular!
  13. Why o why do so many want us just to throw money at it? Have we learnt nothing from the skates and that approach. I cannot fathom how any Saints fan can see us as a regular top 6 team. It's LaLa land. For glory we should be going balls out in the cups.
  14. He talks the talk but he'll be judged on as to whether he walks the walk.
  15. Also after #3 for me 7 years ago. I also got an infection & had gonads like beach balls for a week. Was the right decision & one I don't regret. If I hadn't had it done I reckon we would have had another and we couldn't have afforded that.
  16. It's utter nonsense to believe that NC was going to push us on to the CL. He was excellent at spending other peoples money in a carefree manner and the mugs believed it. I don't want my club spending millions in an insane attempt to gain fleeting glory. I want a sustainable club.
  17. The club & MP have always said they'd get to the end of the season and then talk contracts so why are the drama queens throwing hissy fits now? Chill, we have no control and if any of the big clubs come calling for our players and manager, offering glory and pots of gold, then only a few mentally challenged folk seem to think that we can or even should, compete with them.
  18. I agree, most don't but then most haven't a 'kin clue that he's an MEP or what MEPs even do. Those that I know who are voting UKIP are doing so for one reason only. Immigration.
  19. I love the crest part of it and dislike the scarf & halo part but fully understand everyone's attachment to it.
  20. Alas it won't as the political classes, and I agree totally with your sentiment regarding them, know UKIP are a one trick pony and come the General Election, folk revert to type.
  21. JR at Fulham. The sort of goal I love to see.
  22. Those who I actually know who intend to vote UKIP are the voting for them solely for the anti-immigration message. They seem to have no idea of UKIPs actual EU policies or they simply don't care.
  23. Liverpool and Fulham the stand out and Sunderland by far the worst.
