  1. The lad & I are going.
  2. Instead of being ripped of by the prices for #MCFC v #Saintsfc I'll be ripped off by taking the kids to see Rio2 plus I'll miss the games
  3. I have the advantage of struggling to remember due to beer intake although I certainly f**ked some right beasts from there. American Pie in the Frog & Frigate. Quality nights out.
  4. That was a top pub. A skin full of ale and a sing song before going over the bridge to Riverside for their Friday Alt' night with Hammy DJing.
  5. A sentiment that a number of us on twitter agreed on a last week and it's one that I could actually imagine happening.
  6. No one is arguing anything about the on field success, which has been staggering. However, plenty had mentioned, through the years of NCs reign, the discontent and issues surrounding the off field issues and TBF to them, they've been vindicated by recent events. We have an awful lot to thank NC for but that doesn't gloss over some of the things that he got very, very wrong. Never thought that a Swiss banker would be better at on the football side than the commercial/money side!
  7. Then the Greens would also have their place at the lectern.
  8. The debate should be between leaders of the main Westminster parties and not those who are leaders of parties with no representation at all. During the Euro elections and the like, by all means, but not national elections whilst they aren't represented in parliament.
  9. I have and always will despised Utd and living up here I dislike them even more. I hope the smug f**kers win nothing for the next 20 years.
  10. I'm a leftie by nature but I think that assessment is spot on. The traditional parties have spent so long fighting for the middle ground from their Westminster bubble that they've lost touch with the reality of ordinary folk. Farage, regardless of what I think of his party and it's aims, at least has a grasp of that reality.
  11. Quite right.
  12. Wasn't me who got cut, it was Andy Searle. I got two cracked ribs when some fat f**k landed on me.
  13. He's a tedious bore as well.
  14. We're not though. Anyone with 1/2 a brain can see that. We can kiss goodbye to a shopping spree though but I can certainly live with that if we can keep the current crop together.
  15. What part of the statements regarding not needing to sell didn't you understand or perhaps you simply can't accept what they've said and don't really understand the accounts either?
  16. The sales he wants so he can say "told you so".
  17. Yep, in deepest darkest Staffordshire. Also in Stoke, which improved the place no end.
  18. Considering how much we've spent on Wanyama, Osvalso, Lovrens & Gaston it's no shock that we still owe monies on transfer fees. The overspend on the TG will be down to NC's vanity. No wonder they wanted him out.
  19. Had two disallowed away at Genoa (may have been Samp), one wrongly.
  20. I'd settle for a point now but I expect nowt from the game.
  21. Being pro-Europe I'd obvious vote to stay in but we should have a referendum regardless.
  22. His developed, or changed his game, to become the perfect number 10.
  23. It was a midtable game. Why the f**K does anyone think it deserves to be one before the top/bottom if the table clashes. Some of you are just plain f**king weird.
  24. A knock? Cisse should have been sent off for his challenge on Chambers.
