  1. The fact that they've sold out is all the justification they need. If it wasn't for the fact that I wanted to ensure Arsenal tickets I wouldn't be paying it.
  2. Sod it, I'm going with the nipper now. Couldn't resist!
  3. So to pay off BC PST want to borrow the money from the council. Idiots.
  4. I thought the system was excellent if I'm honest, just hope my gamble of not wasting £30 on an unused ticket pays off.
  5. Going tomorrow. I just can't wait.
  6. Ticket for Sue bought. Took the gamble of not buying & then wasting a ticket for the nipper just to ensure Arsenal tickets.
  7. I had to phone the ticket office to add my nipper, Corky Morris & his nippers plus Hasper57Saint to the friends & family thing & now I can't bloody well see them on the online thingy.
  8. I've done Everton plenty of times & I can only recall seeing us win once.
  9. Which is why I find myself in the obscene position of having to buy my nipper a ticket for City despite having no intention of going just so we both have maximum points for Arsenal. In theory, by Everton away, unless you're a season ticket with both aways under your belt, you'll have no chance of an away ticket this season.
  10. That's not how I read it. If it is that way that's a pity.

  12. What they've done Joe is give all season ticket holders 295 points so it someone bought on a match by match basis they'd be starting from zero so wouldn't jump above season ticket holders.

  14. Yep. It could be a case of me being able to get an Arsenal ticket but my lad not simple because I'll have a City ticket against mine & he won't. That could then result in me being able to get Everton tickets & him not or me getting Arsenal & Everton tickets & those I usually go with not being able to simply because they are out of the country for the City & Arsenal games. In theory unless I get a ticket for city for my nipper & then not use it he may not be able to attend an away game this season due to not getting on the points ladder.

  16. It won't hurt the club to understand that friendlies need to be priced sensibly & that we aren't cash cows. I'm not doing a single one at the prices they want.

  18. Personally I think sales are on about par with my expectations. The real test is later when people understand how hard it is to get matchday tickets for the "big" games as for the last 7 years that hasn't been an issue.

  20. I'm using my season ticket to get a ticket for someone else just so I can get an Arsenal ticket. Might even buy a kids ticket for the nipper & not use it because if he dipped out of Arsenal he'd be gutted plus we've already booked the train!

  22. Oh, & fair play to MLG for putting the numbers together.

  24. I'm torn here. In previous PL years our following at northern grounds has been poor but over the last few years our following has boomed & a who generation of younger fans will have never done OT, Anfield etc so will want to do them. Experience of PL aways = general sale v Recent years & new generation = no general sale. Be interesting to see which way it goes.
