  1. I'm not arguing that point, merely observing that the demographic of our away support, especially in the North, has changed & become younger and appear much more willing to travel than previous generations.
  2. Latter, for fire reasons.
  3. You're clearly going to have a lifetime of disappointment then.
  4. Can't be right, same as being told by Derby we'd sold out can't be right as our support is sh.it, despite the evidence that it's improved significantly since our last visit to the Premier League.
  5. Is 2600 at Leicester & Derby, both north of Oxford, sh.it support?
  6. So 2.5k odd at each of those three games, all north of Oxford, shows our shi.t support does it? Simple truth is that our support is changing, getting younger & is much more likely to travel than the last time we were up.
  7. Derby was sold out as we requested extra seats & couldn't have them as Derby had done a groupon deal in that block. My nipper was mascot that day & all the Derby people were amazed that we'd brought so many and said we had requested 500 more tickets.
  8. Leicester, Derby & Forest we sold out.
  9. I base teams support by demographics & quite simply we have a whole younger generation travelling who we never had before.
  10. Not in the last 3 years it hasn't been. I've been gob smacked with the numbers we've taken to places like Burnley compared to previous seasons. One of the few good things about living in mid-Staffordshire is that it's p.iss easy to get to northern/midlands games.
  11. That was just snow! Leeds was snow on the ground and well, well, below freezing. Don't think I've ever been so cold at a game with the possible exception of away to Reading at Elm Park in the FAC under Souness.
  12. They've all been granted temp' clearance.
  13. In terms of being colder than my mother-in-laws heart, Leeds.
  14. You're a brave man, we salute you.
  15. F**k, now you've done it. The borderline savant will be posting in a minute using bizarre arguments about Everton & Villa.
  16. When he left so did some of ours. I believe they discussed the error of his ways. We walked past him, sat on the kerb with blood pooling around him, & laughed.
  17. Tranmere, both times, although the skate getting his nose broken after the 1st game made it a tad more tolerable.
  18. I really don't know what model we need to adopt for our 2nd chamber but one thing is certain & that is I'd sooner a degree of reform to the current model than a house full of career politicians.
  19. Coldest ground in the country! 1 stop on the train for me or get the Doris to drop me off.
  20. So you think people who believe in talking snakes deserve their place in the 2nd chamber?
  21. Forgot about that & it's my home game this season!
  22. I would imagine the "big" northern games will have good followings & Wigan for "tick off" reasons.
  23. Fair point. My only counter argument is that a whole group of fans, say under 24ish, wouldn't have been to the PL grounds and will deffo want to. In the group I go with Swansea, Wigan & Arsenal are the priority for the adults as they are our "new" grounds and with the kids it's OT, Anfield etc, all the "big" clubs. Pretty sure that that pattern will be similar for many.
  24. I get the impression that you've been itching to use these. Very good they are too.
  25. Away numbers will be good this season. Novelty factor + ground ticking off factor.
