  1. The had no out balls as we were far too narrow
  2. 1 x XL Green left.
  3. Fri - cricket nets with the nipper followed by a movie when the nipper goes to bed in a mo'. Sat - Drive to/from SMS followed by curry & ****. Sun - Nippers footy match, followed by cricket nets where my best off spin will be smashed around by my 9yo.
  4. They'll be burning barricades on Whitehall!
  5. Or a long flight in the arse end of a Herc' with just old battered ear defenders on. Happy days.
  6. All they've done is give them the money they were entitled to, no more than that. Even most skates understand that.
  7. 45 - Live in Stafford (Ex-Bitterne) 1st home game was sometime in the early 70s and I've no memories but I know we had season tickets from '77 onwards on the Lower West benches, behind the dugouts, 3 rows back. 1st away was Chelsea, lost 3-1 IIRC, again back in the 70s sometime pre (I think) 1976
  8. Won't impact any of us old salts.
  9. We went in for the right reasons. We stayed for the wrong reasons. Once AQ were nullified we should have been out.
  10. Crab Air Tri-Stars. Ah, the memories.
  11. My skate mates aren't expecting to start next season as a league club. As they said, in the close season it's no longer news.
  12. It was money they were entitled to anyway and was always going to be released.
  13. It's too tight to call IMHO. I'm just going to chill and enjoy the ride.
  14. Get. The. Fu ck. In.
  15. Why? It's their choice whether to go or not.
  16. Skate bastards are having to book and pay direct with the coach company.
  17. Understandable though. My wife went apoplectic when I said I was taking the nipper to Millwall but doesn't bat an eyelid for any other game. Millwall still have a scary reputation for very many folk.
  18. I stayed with my wife, always will, and have 3 very happy, bright and well balanced kids. Doesn't alter the fact the my "crisis" was painful for all, brought about life changing circumstances but we emerged fitter, stronger, wiser and closer for it. I now live a very contented life which many would find ordinary and boring but which I find just about perfect.
  19. No, that's the Brum owner.
  20. Looking back at it in the cold light of day what really, really impressed me was just how cool under pressure we were, as if they just knew that Leeds wouldn't score. This team is made of seriously stern stuff.
  21. Sheringham knocked it in IIRC. Great save though.
  22. With Rickie as King Leonidas.
  23. Bloody hell, nerve wracking.
