  1. It should either be STV or FPTP. AV is a neither for that reason alone I'll be voting no. Compromise merely results in the worst possible solution.
  2. That is an opinion based on no factual evidence. Just because you think it, doesn't make it true. Simple fact is that a team on the verge of the EPL couldn't prise him away with a £3mill bid but you fully expect that a L1 team should have got him for less than 1/2 the Norwich bid. You want to stay out of the sun mush.
  3. I was a skinny 20 year old lad who was launched onto the Orange grit stuff they used to have around the pitch by some large cockney type only to he hurled back into the fray by a couple of rozzers.
  4. Play the diamond against Brighton and we'll get ripped a new @rsehole.
  5. If you believe that then you're even more naive than I thought.
  6. There are no cheap flights to Cape Town.
  7. If he losses he losses the very reason he entered into coalition for. He's a dead man walking as the Liberals will self destruct when the No vote wins, and it will. However, the real winner will be apathy. I doubt if the turnout reaches 30%
  8. itz me write 2 diss em. Iz nefer fink hard. Lolz blud.
  9. Yeah, write ficky me is.
  10. I'm currently reading "All The Pretty Horses" by Cormac McCarthy. I must admit to struggling with his writing style. A bit to unorthodox for my taste.
  11. I blame Adkins, he's sh*t. If only we had Pardew.
  12. No. Just to ****** Clegg off.
  13. Looks a great ground albeit out in the boondocks which will mean a gash atmosphere.
  14. Yes, you just "buy" an U8 ticket when buying the adult ones.
  15. Wrong. Fella and his dad has his nipper (7ish) and daughter (4ish) infront of us in The Chapel on Saturday. When we scored she looked in real distress, hands over ears, eyes full of tears. It's the adults forcing the game onto their kids. My nipper 1st went at 5, that was a pre season game. We built it up from there and since the age of 7 he goes home and away. I wouldn't go to a game without him now
  16. Brighton have never been, and never will be rivals. That is, and can only be, the skate bast**ds. Rivals for promotion this season yes, but so are Huddersfield and Posh.
  17. If only they'd given you the job with your great record in professional football management.
  18. They are just another small club with a chip on their shoulder.
  19. Brighton are worthy champions but their fans strike me as a bunch of small club mongs.
  20. Forte deffo signaled to the bench and held his hamstring after stretching to toe poke the ball just wide.
  21. I don't know any Jews, never have and so I cannot weigh any decision based on experience. Nor have I ever encountered anybody being anti-Semitic. Anti-Israel yes, but not anything about the Jewish race. Based solely on that and my own experiences of football fans then the term Yids, in my experience, has been no more than a term for Spurs fans. I really doubt than many football fans who use the term know what Yids means are anti-Semitic themselves. Doubt many, outside parts of London, have even met a Jew! All, of course, IMHO.
  22. It's one of those terms, I'd suggest, that the vast majority of ordinary football fans associate with someone being a Spurs fan and not any form of religion/race. I'd be surprised if many knew what/who Yids are/were! A girl (Wolves season ticket holder) in one of my classes, when asked about her new boyfriend by one of her friends, replied he was cool even if he was a Yid. Don't think anyone thought that he was Jewish, merely that he was a Spurs fan.
