It was bloody bitter!
-
The same can be said of Citizen Dave which is why the tories have failed to make a obvious breakthrough despite the state of the Labour campaign.
-
I've always believed that the English should be given a referendum as to whether they wish to remain in the Union. The celtic nations are always banging on about having independence from us but we've never been asked if we want independence from them. We would become a low tax/high GDP nation without them and it would solve the West Lothian question once and for all. I'm firmly of the belief that it would draw the main parties in England to the centre which would be no bad thing.

You what? Do you have any idea on how dependent Ulster is on PS jobs? This is all about ££ and protecting those Ulster jobs.
-
Some parts of the public sector did start doing that a while ago JB, or at least those employing some foresight.
-
Tories don't lie, not ever. Nope, not them. It was in the Mail.
-
The 80s were great if you liked mass unemployment, riots, social disorder, greed, me, me, me culture rampant inflation, poor standards in health and education and really good cheap narcotics.
-
I get that and it's fair point but it doesn't really explain the lack of a killer slogan that would adorn posters etc. The Tax Bomb one for example.
-
Not sure I follow?
-
Previous campaigns have been very good at producing a killer slogan (usually by the tories) but this time has been really lacklustre. I wonder why?

Care to share your views on how Darwinism have made the white races superior? It used to be one of your favourite subjects Stanley.
-
It's not about politics. It's about Dune, or Stanley as he was, believing that non whites are inferior to the white races and using a warped version of Darwinism to explain it. It also has to do with Stanley attending NF rallies and spouting a white supremacist rhetoric. Did I mention his holocaust denial and his belief that we should have allied ourselves with Nazi Germany as their foreign policy was "misunderstood"? He was banned for doing it so Dune is treading carefully but once a neo-nazi scumbag, always a neo-nazi scumbag.
-
I only found out about it today Stanley. Made me think of you. We know how you feel about non-whites & your theories on social-Darwinism. Now, what were they again?
-
You're always wrong Stanley. I see Ian Wright has come out for the tories. That must really upset you with him being black.
-
Not at all. With the state Labour are in I'd fully expected the tories to poll around 42%. As the campaign has progressed it's become clear that the tories aren't trusted which says something about the state of mainstream politics that the main opposition party is struggling to win despite the current governenment being so unpopular. I find it a genuine concern that politics finds itself in this position.
-
Equal disdain. Says an awful lot about how the public view the ruling classes.
-
Which tells you how much disdain they are held in now as they should be in the 40s as a minimum.
-
The same amount as Blair. They also have the fact that they are c*nts in common.

MW2 System Update Glitch PS3
View From The Top replied to View From The Top's topic in Computer Games
Solved it. Corrupt data in the utilities folder. -
Just went to download a update and during the install phase it said there was an error and closed it down. Now I can't get MW2 to read off the HD. Any suggestions to solve it?

Gordon's bank bailout was the brave work of genius
View From The Top replied to Wade Garrett's topic in The Lounge
If the banks had of failed we would have been in the midst of a depression now according to some economists and it's a blessed relief to all of us that that spectre seems to have passed. -

The banks being saved stopped a depression. -
AL's touch in bringing down a ball at full pelt on the touchline away at Walsall. Best bit of skill I've seem since MLT. RL's 30 yarder against MKD a close 2nd.

I was told by someone at the club that the gate reciepts for the Ipswich game paid for Barnard. Don't know how true that is but seems plausible.

Driving into college this morning I noticed quite a few cars with England flags flying from the windows. Is this just a Black Country thing or is it the same across the country? Seems a tad early for WC mania to kick in!
