  1. I have the exact same conversation. They couldn't understand that they we becoming immigrants themselves. Still, they weren't right bright to begin with.
  2. He wouldn't have intervened and let them fail. Osbourne went around with his mouth flapping but nowt coming out. Ken Clarke put a spanner in the tory works by saying that the Government had done the right thing.
  3. There is a very interesting debate regarding this on another thread and as we seem to have a wide spread of political leanings on here I thought it would be interesting to see the consensus? Like many I have no issues with many aspects of the EU such as trade and freedom of work and movement but feel very uncomfortable with much of the federalist structure and it's unelected nature and my politics are left of centre. If a referendum I think I would vote yes, leave.
  4. I have to LOL at that. You do understand that if the Argies invaded (which they won't) and took control (which they won't) we would be in no position to fight for them anyway? We lack the capacity required to do so. It's got to be the dumbest reason I've read this campaign to vote tory.
  5. So it was the low tax tories who upped VAT to 17.5%. Well I never.
  6. The current system works a treat after all.
  7. The Janners are in a terrible state and my Janner mate fears for a repeat performance next season.
  8. So it's Labour's and the Liberals fault that there are only career politicians? Get a grip mush, they are all as bad as each other. You couldn't get more career politician than Cameron.
  9. But very accurate Stanley.
  10. And herein lays the problem. There seems very little place in the modern system for non-career politicians and that is bad for democracy and bad for us.
  11. I can live with it Stanley what with you being a holocaust denying, NF supporting, un-educated, thick neo-nazi piece of scum 'n all.
  12. Maybe in neo-nazi world Stanley.
  13. It wouldn't have been a tory would it? Not them tories with their tax cutting ways hiking up VAT and extending it into areas like domestic gas and electricity? Well I never.
  14. Just like Cameron then.
  15. Doesn't seem to bother you too much as you're voting for Osbourne.
  16. It's been clear for a while that Brown is a dead duck so who would you like to see replace him? Alan Johnson would be my choice.
  17. I agree with you totally, but the highlighted bit is also true of the tory front bench. Far too many career politicians of all hues and far too few conviction politicians or those who are doing it to give something back.
  18. Noobs are easy meat I'm afraid and they only way to improve is to play and learn the maps. Find a weapon(s) and perk(s) set up that works for you and stick with it. It takes a while but before long you'll get the hang of it. Try HQ or similar, where the games tend to be longer (up to 20mins) as it will give you more time to perfect your technique and learn the maps.
  19. What a load of sh*t being spouted by some pompous buffons. The season is over, he's taking a look at some things and the players heads are already on the beach.
  20. They are in for such a shock this closed season.
  21. One of the Brighton seats I believe.
  22. USofA or the convicts?
  23. Stanley is just upset that the tories aren't looking like they are going to romp home as he predicted.
  24. I'm glad someone else reads it the same way. I was worried for a moment!
