In a radio solent blog before the start of the season, one of the commentators said that off the record he made it clear that he wasn't in charge or everything at the club and they suggested that he was being told what formations to play. That interview I reckon makes it clear that he has been told to play 4-3-3. May not be the case but that's what I think.

I don't know anything, it's just an opinion. Would it surprise you?

How insistent he was about that made me suspicious that that is not actually the case. I feel sorry for Adkins. The blog from the Radio Solent bloke is on my mind.

I agree. I'm still unsure how much of this is his fault, even if he says it is all down to him.

I said he would be sacked by December. Could well be gone this week.

Jack Cork might help possibly? I cant help thinking that if we had got a point or two against the Manchester clubs then we would be doing better now. That's how football goes though and we aren't helping ourselves with these weird formations, tactics and selections. We also didn't do this last year, I wonder to what extent Adkins is picking the team.

It is getting a bit old now TBH, especially as we have a few black players now who get no abuse.

It's more the fact that Lambert was on the bench and Jay Rod played in his position. Just criminal.

Of course it was. Yet those who pointed it out were shouted down. We were told to wait until the end of the transfer window. We were then told that we would be fine and that most of the teams in the Premiership were easy. That we would definitely finish mid table. We didn't strengthen enough at the back and it was obvious to most people.

I'm not gloating, but I did go on and on and on about this in the summer and so many people said we would be fine and comfortably mid table and didn't need any more defensive players. It is our inaction in the summer that is the primary cause of this.
