Well as religion is subjective, I'm not sure how someone can say to someone else that they are 'more true' to their religion. Do you mean they interpret it more literally?

OK so we are talking about the extremes such as the religious parts of the US and certain Islamic countries. In that case I agree with you.

Intolerant religious orders and those that indoctrinate children are wrong. In my opinion it is not as widespread as you believe. Certainly not in this country.

How else do you make claims about the majority or religious people if not using your own experience? Unless you know some sort of peer reviewed research that backs up the claims that the majority of religious people indoctrinate their children in the ways that vftt described.

I'm not saying anything, simply that I will be reassured when we sign some of those quality players we have been linked with. If we sign Ramirez for example then I can't imagine anyone will suggest that is not good enough. I don't actually care that much who we are linked with, what I care about is who signs.

OK well I didn't know from what context that quote was taken from. I would certainly disagree that a CB that is the same level as Clyne would not be good enough. Clyne looks to be an excellent signing. Jury still out on Jay Rod for me.

To me it reads that we have not bought enough quality. He has now clarified his comments- that he feels that we have bought a lot of potential that is good but he is worried that we may not be quite at the right level of performance before that potential is reached. Happy to be proven wrong though as I don't want to speak for him. Seems like a reasonable point of view IMO.

No. "Enough quality" to me means that we have bought some quality but not enough. I would actually agree here since defensively it is clear that we are short of some quality.

Which is one big reason why I have to repeat my views since I am so often misquoted or taken out of context (or lumped in with someone else with a stupidly extreme view to make it look like I was being totally unreasonable.)

Sorry Frank but it's spelt divine. I know it's a small thing but I couldn't let it go on any longer . Out of interest, would your opinion be that someone with a religious belief would not be taken seriously on any other subject? Because I have to say that is an extremely strong response and IMO really rather OTT.
