In some ways Suarez is unlucky then that he wasn't prosecuted! In that case the FA would be powerless to deal with him and his case would look shaky on a beyond reasonable doubt basis.

A verdict that Suarez disputes. by the video evidence it is clear that Terry said the offensive words, what is in dispute is if he said it as an insult rather than saying that isn't what he said. Not much difference in my mind. (does the fact that criminal proceedings have been brought mean the FA are unable to do their own independent investigation based on probability? Or are they prohibited from doing so?)

I actually think it was Wong to handle the terry and Suarez affair so differently. It wasn't actually proven, it was done on the basis of probability unlike Terry's case.
