  1. My respect for Keith Hill has shot up.
  2. No chance. Someone will buy them.
  3. I reckon they will get a buyer now, though I doubt they will have a whole lot of money. I am hopeful they will get someone who recognises that they need to be sustainable to be a viable business and who will cut their cloth accordingly. We shall see. If they only get a ten point deduction though I shall be angry again.
  4. Satisfied with the impending minus ten now trousers?
  5. But they will always have memories of the FA cup (bought with players they could not afford.) Lol.
  6. Yes but the fact the judge questioned his debenture is interesting. Quite possible that he will lose his claim.
  7. I would be perfectly satisfied with that. Doing plan B with AFC Pompey would eventually make them everyone's second team and the media darlings and that would just be irritating so slumming it in the lower leagues would suit me. What does annoy me is that they have a decentish chance of getting a result against us in a couple of months. By rights they should be truly down to the bare bones, instead they sold no one in January and just like when we played them in the cup, have a chance of getting a result with players they cannot afford.
  8. They do have advanced parachute payments to deal with some of that. How much and how long for I do not know.
  9. TBH I am happy for that as long as they get relegated and begin to finally live within their means. The good news for that is it means they are very likely to send a long time in the lower leagues.
  10. I suspect that moment may have passed!
  11. I'm happy because I didn't really want Portsmouth to be liquidated this time. What I want to see is them getting rid of all the players they cannot afford and living strictly within their means. What I would like to see is them relegated this season and then spending a significant amount of time in league one. That would be fitting I feel.
  12. Lol Pompry fans are claiming people power swung it and saying what a great job they have done as if that actually had ANY bearing on the decision.
  13. Because as I said, they would rather the club were run fairly and liquidated then run dodgily and continue giving money to Chanrai.
  14. Note of caution though lads. It's possible now that Chanrai will have his charge downgraded to just a secure creditor. That makes the club a lot more attractive to a buyer and Chanrai loses his power.
  15. I think many are at the point that they would rather see the club die than Chanrai continue to profit. Shame they didn't take that approach earlier...
  16. But they can't even afford those staff (and probably 10 percent of the staff earn 90 percent of the wages.)
  17. No more backhanded dodgy deals. No more inflated debts, no more 'we will be taken over in three days.' PFC will no longer be able to run in admin whilst insolvent. If no buyer can be found (and it's going to take the new administrator a while to get acquainted with stuff) then he can (and will) liquidate.
  18. How on earth are they going to fund admin?
  19. Woo. Justice.
  20. Old news MLG...
  21. The worst thing is that after the first time they failed to be self sufficient. Didn't any Portsmouth supporters question where the money for the wages of Kitson and Lawrence were coming from? But no, they just went on and on about being the smallest squad in the league. Disgraceful.
  22. Bob Beech saying that the Premiership and football league washed their hands of them. How about you ensured your club was self sufficient Bob before you complain, then it wouldn't have mattered if your club was dodgy. If they had gone down the route of someone like Milwall and had a sensible wage cap they could afford, then they would have a right to feel aggrieved. Fool.
  23. What does that mean?
  24. Apologies. Back on topic.
  25. As I said, I don't believe it would have happened. As we saw with Portsmouth, the judges don't have the guts to liquidate and certainly when you consider how much smaller our debt was in comparison to theirs. We would have survived somehow.
