No he didn't. See this is how rumours start. And nobody was comparing Beattie to Drogba. They used Drogba (who is the same age as Beattie) to make the point that someone should not be discounted simply because of their age.

Yes Fonte has been shaky and Jos has been finding his feet. It's a shame we couldn't get him in sooner so he could get used to our style of play. I think it's only Richardson who I am currently comfortable with, I think CB is our weak spot personally.

Agree with this. I have always liked Harding and I definitely prefer him to Fox.

Just one mistake today although unfortunately a costly one. According to the radio though he was doing well. He's impressed me so far from what I have seen and heard but maybe we saw a little glimpse of why Celtic fans didn't like him. Don't mind him being a little error prone at times if he can continue to be solid as often as possible.

Ah well it's only one bad result. Bit of a bummer we couldn't open up a gap at the top. Still win Saturday and we will hold on to top for a bit. I still think that as the season progresses we will regret not strengthening up front. Defence is also a worry, we just do not look solid at the back.

But being honest that's just something people say. I hope we start scoring again but I really think De Ridder needs to start in his proper position to give us some pace.

But even at the Forest game I thought it was a drop from the Ipswich mauling and Leeds too. Maybe teams are figuring out how to play against us?

I see the post nazis are back telling others what to think. My view is that it's one bad performance but also we have seen a drop in our level of performance in the last few games. I really hope we get back to winning ways on Saturday. If we lose or draw that then it's a bit of a slump in form and we will have to look at how that has come about.
