He looks really chunky to me and moves like a snail. I'm not sure what it is but it is as if he has been replaced by a different player in pre season. It's very odd but it can't continue much longer. We may have to think about dropping him for a while soon.

I distinctly remember him throwing it out or passing it on a number of occasions. I think 80% is rather inaccurate.

Well I'm interested in what leftback has to say, even if some of it can be ignored due to his self confessed agenda. He clearly has a line into the club and there appears to be truth in some of what he says. Worth listening to at any rate because he is going to be right on occasion. Before anyone starts, I would be saying this even if the poster was posting with a heavy bias in favour of Cortese if he had proven (like leftback has) that he has some real info. Too many people are quick to rubbish someone just because they don't like what they have to say.

Thought he had a really good game last night. We always have a thread when the ref was awful but apart from a couple of things (which is always going to happen). I thought he was really solid. Well done that man. Any idea who he was?

Still not as good as I hoped he would be. There are areas for improvement no doubt and he is too inconsistent. I hope he comes good.

Also, this forum is open to all. It used to be a lot less strict but now it is more popular so it is right that it is moderated.

Yes I take your point. I still think a bit of common sense should be used though and if you have a private word then things could get sorted. That's how it used to work with likes of DSM and a few others. Even Ponty would hold his hands up if he could see that something was not intended to be malicious.

Well I've been on here for more than 7 years with no previous history of racism or indeed any infractions for anything other than when I have intentionally crossed a line. Oh well, I suppose some new mods may take a bit of getting used to.

I totally agree with my infraction at the time. Now it has subsequently been shown to be a well known quote from Brass Eye, I would have thought they would quietly remove it. If someone reported me for because they assumed I was being racist then fair enough but I suspect it was because people believed I have been victimising deppo when this wasn't the case in any way. I would like to know who actually told you that about me constantly reporting people. If you can PM me it then It'll go no further and I can have a word with the person concerned. Thanks.

Besides I have no problem with people reporting others, its refusing to change a stance after an error has been pointed out.

No I didn't and I'm fed up of people making that up. Steve Grant has already confirmed that this is not the case.

The middle class bit. And I got 4 infractions for racism which even though it has been pointed out as a misunderstanding are seemingly going to stand. Unfair really and I would be saying the same whoever it was.

Because I happen to find (some) parts of the forum useful and interesting to use. Only this week Pancake sorted me out with a graphic which I really needed for my job. That's why.

Not really, I just have little to do at work today and I don't want to get close to a ban over a misunderstanding. They won't change it now anyway but I'm hoping this isn't the new direction the mods are taking (and in fairness saint Clark has been decent so far.)

As it seems extremely unlikely that I will get my ridiculous infractions lifted due to st 'mod in training' chalet seemingly too proud to reverse an incorrect decision, here is the quote I used (a few seconds in). You can decide for yourself if it is racist.

I appreciate the reason for the misunderstanding but since I have explained the situation I would have thought that a bit of common sense would be used and my infractions for being racist would be removed. Fair enough if you want to give me one for posting a pointless remark but that is totally different. On a separate point, can't say I have ever had a problem with mods before who from my experience have done a really good job and preferred to have a word before dishing out infractions.

I didn't think it would get me an infraction. I already apologised. I thought it was a well known brass eye quote, the same way that film quotes are used. It was an error of judgement and I fully appreciate why I was infracted over a misunderstanding. It's just that I have now been infracted for racist remarks which following my explanation is clearly wrong.

Except there was a serious point behind the comment. Besides, I was infracted for posting a racist remark, not for posting a silly comment. I didn't post anything racist.

How can you call an opinion drivel? I don't agree with everything he said but no need for the insults just because you saw the game a bit differently.
