I suppose I just don't find them as incredible. Just the sheer scale of the time and size involved makes my head hurt. The pictures of space are my favourite bit. That photo which is the the farthest picture taken of earth is just incredible. The technology involved that something from millions of miles away can take a photo and transmit it back to Earth is astonishing. And the idea that our ancestors should they survive a billion years would be huddling round a red dwarf for warmth when all the other lights have gone out I found a fascinating concept.

Then why bring him here in the first place?

Everyone should just ignore him, I mean seriously just totally turn a blind eye. I bet that would p*ss him right off.

A cynic would suggest that if infractions were made public that Baj would be accused of double standards and so it is in his interest that that doesn't happen...

I like a load of American shows (The Walking Dead, Sopranos, The Wire, Boardwalk Empire etc) but IMO this documentary is when TV really adds something to your life and educates me about something which previously I knew very little about. It's fascinating viewing and I can't think of anything (certainly not British) which comes close in terms of documentaries.

The solution to that is to have a thread dedicated to infractions so it is confined to one area.

It was a sensible thread to discuss a really good programme. I didn't want him clogging it up with his bullsh*t as he does on every thread whether it is the muppet show where it is appropriate or not. And no I didn't report him, I just saw it a minute ago.

See why can't people just discuss a topic sensibly without being a total tw*t like deppo and taking things off topic? This was a sensible thread and nice to see most people respecting that.

I think it is more a perception that this place is negative. Much of the time posters have preconceived ideas that someone is 'negative' and so will see negativity in their posts even when the points they have made are not negative at all.

I just bought my phone separately and then went on giffgaff. Bet mobile phone contract IMO.

I think he captures the tone of the show quite well.

What an absolutely superb series. I loved the one last year and it started again on Sunday. IMO the best thing on TV and really makes you think about life and the scale of time and space. There are ways around this. The problem I have is I would want something uber portable with good battery life which allows me to do the normal stuff I do on my laptop. Lack of flash means I can't browse a host of sites I do now or watch flash video which I do a fair amount of in my spare time. From my investigations, it seems there is a flash browser but the compatibility is cr*p and it's not very good. Damn you apple just become flash compatible!

A mint green daewoo lanos is the worst car I have ever been driven in unless you are counting complete heaps of cr*p like a car I got driven home from school in years ago. No idea of the make but it was tiny and we all had to lean forward to get up a hill because it almost didn't make it.

I am going to australia for a year and im looking to get something like an iPad that I can use on the go to update things. My only reservation would be the lack of flash on the browser and may make me get an android version from an alternative provider. Is the lack of flash irritating? I watch online shows on things like megavideo and would still like to do this.
