I repeat, Stephens has shown he can perform to an adequate standard in the prem. It's up to Martin to show he can get Stephens to that standard and he deserves to give it a shot. He's also shown he will drop players who aren't performing so I'm sure he woukd do the same next year.

He also showed with Bournemouth that he can perform in the prem. Martin has earnt the right to do things his way and if he believes the character and passion of Stephens is needed in the prem then that's what he should do.

Here is Mr white knight again putting his body on the line for soggy because he agrees with him over Palestine. You realise that the last five years have been never ending amounts of focusing on people. In reality, politics is a combination of policies and also the individuals carrying out those policies and their competence. Now that Labour will get in power, the competence of their MPs will quite rightly come under the microscope. There's also a giant difference between holding your nose and voting for Corbyn as many did and being a loud and proud supporter who then has a tantrum because the people rightly rejected his as a crank playing student politics. So it's not stupid at all.
