So they were pretending to get close to building a bomb for leverage? Spending billions on the required technology with no intention of ever actually acquiring one? And that's more likely than actually just secretly building a bomb?
-
Is it your contention that Iran were enriching uranium to 60% for entirely innocent and non nuclear bomb related reasons? Do you have any evidence for that claim? Have Japan and South Africa enriched uranium to 60% for that purpose?
-
I'm not a scientist but do you have any links that show any alternative reasons for enriching uranium to 60% other than preparing to develop a bomb?
-
Sorry is the enriched uranium story being disputed?
-
They were clearly along the path towards a nuclear bomb. If you don't want them to get one at what point is it acceptable to intervene?
-
Except that the wmd stuff was invented. Iran actually has the enriched uranium which is a clear attempt to make nukes so it's not the same at all.
-
Some saying Evan Ferguson.
-
How does enriching uranium to that extent provide that?
-
If we have no need to sell then I'd like to see us play hard ball with a couple of the players it might be worthwhile keeping. Keeping a Ramsdale or Fernandes or even a Downes or THB would be big in the championship with a reasonable to excellent chance that we won't need to replace them if we do win promotion. I get we will inevitably sell some but imagine if we just said to Fernandes that he's simply not leaving this summer and can go with our blessing next year if we don't go up.
-
If i honest I'd rather we just sell him for good money if he doesn't want to play in the champ for a season.
-
Why do you think Iran enriched uranium to that level in the first place?
-
If Ramsdale supposedly loves the club then why can't he just stay for one season in the Championship. If he stays and we top the table then I doubt it will harm his England chances.

"The irresponsible decision to subject the territory of a sovereign state to missile and bomb attacks, whatever the arguments it may be presented with, flagrantly violates international law” Sounds like only a minority on here (thankfully!) agree with this statement.
-
Sounds like the ramblings of someone who would welcome Iran getting their hands on nukes because it will promote peace. Also known as a lunatic.

If I were surrounded by 5 houses that didn't want me as a neighbour, instead of setting fire to all 5 houses and plead innocence, I'd just move house. Explain to me how that is supposed to work with Israel?
-
Blimey. If true that's superb business.
-
It's a comparison between two things in order to explain something. It doesn't work because the things that are being compared are not similar.
-
Not really an analogy that works. The country of Israel isn't a house.
-
Not sure why you mentioned mane then other than the fact that both are black and have some pace. There's not really a comparison there.
-
I never claimed he was anything like Mane, nor did I say he would amount to much but I certainly think he can improve and with better coaching I'd like to see what he could do. Happy if we get enough to sell him but also wouldn't be surprised if he proves you wrong and improves.
-
I'm still not upset he's going. Good money to hopefully bring in someone better and younger.
-
Agree with you there. Sulemana may end up with a disappointing career but if he went somewhere with a good coach he could suddenly make the most of his best attributes and we could rue the fact we never got the best out of him. Could just as well flop though so selling him for good money is probably a good thing to do. 12 million plus like someone else said and I'd sell.
-
We can dream but I know in the championship that your actual good players are the ones who leave. It's why it was so amazing last time to have kwp.
-
Hasn't Broja been pretty ineffective since his horror injury?
-
I know we already know this but if we are buying an attacking midfielder then Fernandes is definitely off.
