A few games ago people were slating him and saying he had no effect. Spoke to quite a few people after the game and they agreed with my view that Svennson has a hand in this recent revival. On the third half, they said that Wotte kept going to talk to Michael throughout the game and our defence looks very assured and composed. Llyod James especially looks to have improved enormously. Do you think Killer is having a positive impact?

The final straw for me with some people was when Alpine said that he KNEW that we played crap because we lost. Never mind that I had actually been to the game but no my opinion was dismissed as rubbish just because of the final result.

That's what I think too and it's the worst thing about being a saints fan. We are never quite **** enough or quite good enough. Just when you think there are going to be huge protests and I prepare to accept relegation, we pull out a completely unexpected performance like last week. I reckon we'll get a dire draw on Saturday and once again I won't know ow to feel.

We turned down the SISU bid. Did that mean there was other interest or did it suggest that the bid was crappy and not in the interest of our shareholders? I imagine Sasha turned it down because it didn't give him enough return on his investment.

Really pleased with the win today but we definitely were not unlucky to not get a point in those games. Certainly not the Bristol game that I went to. Bristol had a penalty saved and had some very poor finishing in the first half.

TBH it doesn't look hugely different in terms of specs to what I have now.
