Sounds like a proper spicy Derby atmosphere. Shame they will be a big fuss about it. If saints played pompey at St Marys and you had some pompey fans celebrating if pompey scored, I'd expect them to be carried out on a stretcher.
-
You may find it funny but I can assure you that laughing emojis are no laughing matter.
-
Don't worry nic you are entitled to your view. It's the hateful laugh emojis from those who claim to be morally superior that need calling out.
-
Nice of @sadoldgit to laugh at this piece of disgusting transphobia. Once again the mask slips.
-
Because an unfortunate moment of bad luck resulting in a goal does not then mean you've played as well or better than another team over the course of a game. Even if the score is the same at the end of the match.
-
Let's imagine a hypothetical scenario where a team has 90% possession and every shot on target. In the last minute the keeper injures himself and loses the ball whilst doing so allowing the opposition to score. You can't seriously suggest that in this scenario that neither team has played better than the other?
-
No it wasn't but the point is the final score does not necessarily tell you which team was better or worse.
-
But of an odd way to look at things. You can be superior by every metric apart from goals and end up drawing or losing games. We've certainly won some games in the past that you can't believe we managed to win and where you could easily claim that the other team were better but didn't have let decisions go for them (that didn't happen on this case obviously.)

Imo Michelle Obama wins by a landslide.
-
That's what I often think of before completion too. The last result against Sheffield Wednesday got me pretty close.
-
You'd watch a million of those games before you watch the top sides playing each other.

You love to see that. That's why the FA cup can still be great because of the strength in depth in our league system. Watching that game was brilliant. Good knock for ipswich too so win win.

If it's nikki haley it's going to piss off a lot of republicans.

Having said that, Europeans better be hoping that Trump gets in if they want to keep their energy prices to a reasonable level given that the green lobby is trying to ban exports.
-
If you like. Biden is an appaling choice as president regardless of trump. Both parties should be looking to bring someone in significantly younger with intelligence and a vision for the country that isn't hugely extreme from opposite ends of the spectrum.
-
Well he's almost certain to be the nominee. If you want the democratic pick to be an alternative then everyone will be hoping for Biden to step down. Would be nice if the leader of the free world wasn't a lunatic or senile.
-
Extremes on both sides contribute to it. Some of the opinion offered as fact is laughable if it wasn't so serious.

I know it doesn't need saying but just in case there's any doubt, I've never listened to a single thing Katie Hopkins has said unless you mean when she was on the apprentice. I don't think she's even on TV anymore that I am aware of. I'm so far right that I'm married to someone of Arabic descent, have a Muslim father in law and mixed race children, have voted Labour in the past and even Liberal Democrat on one occasion. These caricatures are very amusing though. Apparently I definitely am far right but I'm a coward so won't state it explicitly.

Weird isn't it. Almost like he says loads and loads of shit that never actually happens.
-
Fair enough. When we establish ourselves in the prem we will have the luxury of giving more youth a chance.
-
No it isn't but as I said, the polarisation between left and right is much greater there than anywhere else.
-
Some of the more extreme factions espouse certain policies that would align with some tenets of socialism but I agree though that making broad brush statements are mad. You do get some on the left calling everyone to the right of them nazis which is equally ridiculous. Something like this today from someone on the right is both funny and sad, mostly because I doubt he really believes this. Social media really is a cancer.
-
I actually agree with you. Under Poch we had an actual playing youth philosophy where we would regularly throw youngsters into games of consequence. We clearly don't have that this year but I would argue that the stakes are currently too high to risk it. We have to get promoted this year and that means playing our best players as regularly as possible. Expect to see plenty of youngsters next year should we fail to get promoted. If some players feel they have to leave due to our stance this year then that's the consequence of relegation and our current situation I'm afraid the same consequence that lost us the likes of JWP and ABK in the summer.

The fact is we have huge polarisation in America between people on the right and left to a much greater degree than you get in this country. Hence you get some mad statements from both extremes about how it's the end of America if either group gets in over the other. Social media is the most likely cause for me.
