So reading between the lines with the latest rumours, it seems that the person in question spent a load of money on an only fans model whose parents are saying was 17 (but you have to be 18 to sign up on the site.) Even if he did pay all that money, I think it's going to be pretty difficult to prove illegality, particularly with the alleged victim saying that nothing illegal happened. His career is obviously over but I can't see him being prosecuted unless they have proof she was underage and he was requesting pictures. I feel very sorry for his wife and five children.

Shame I quite wanted che to go so we could replace him with someone more effective. Also makes me quite nervous that we will sell off some of the ones we actually want to keep instead (tella, Alcaraz, Sulemana, Tino).

I would have to agree with that. At most it could like four or five years. Surely he could just rent somewhere lovely for the weekdays if required.

Yes I agree this is most likely. I was basing my replies on the bit from @Saint Garrettabout knowing someone who is his mate and him being open to staying.

Obviously but it's not really a choice between 0 and thousands is it. He's already a multi millionaire.

Kane has the chance to go to a tip team and win leagues. It's not the same choice that jwp has.

I'm not just saying this but I would genuinely stay if I were making the choice unless a real top team came in for me. If he captained us to promotion he'd be a legend in Southampton for the rest of his life. Money can't give you that. I suppose it depends what he values but he strikes me as the type of person who'd be attracted by that. I'm still leaning towards him maybe staying, one of the biggest reasons being that Adam Blackmore has spoken about the possibility and there's no way he hasn't had a cheeky chat with him off the record.

We have loads of saleable assets that aren't jwp. I'd sell kwp, ABK and Salisu before I sold him.

If he leaves because the club tell him to go when he's open to staying I'll be pretty pissed. Him staying in the championship would be huge.

Does anyone actually have an itk on Jwp and his thoughts? I'm surprised we have got this far into the window with no indication at all about whether he'd actually consider staying.

You said yes and no but clearly it's unrealistic to expect us to sign someone as good as Lavia in our current position. Where we are currently should be an improvement on last year given that as it stands we have Tino and Tella and an extra year of development for the likes of Bazunu, Edozie etc. We also have a manager whose intention is to play a style which has had some success in the championship in the past and who isn't Nathan Jones and we currently have some players with prior championship experience in Armstrong, Adams and Tella. Now obviously much of that is going to change but we will clearly bring in some decent names to replace the ones who leave and that should have an effect of refreshing the squad. I'm optimistic despite the awfulness of last year.

Well possibly with some of them but the players that top clubs want are not going to be replaced with better. I thought that was obvious but it seems not to some. The key is to get a team together that is maybe better than the sum of its parts that can win promotion. That's it.

It's our weakest position by quite some way. Whether the club recognise that I'm not sure but our success this season could hinge on it.

Were you seriously expecting us to sell Lavia and then replace him with someone just as good? I think you'll be disappointed if that's your attitude this summer.

I feel quite sorry for Djenepo in particular. He started the season under Ralph quite well and then was basically binned.

Well yes but when it inevitably comes out they will look a bit foolish and will get more stick so I'm inclined to believe them. There's a couple that are notable because they haven't made any denials as yet. One is more obvious than the others in my opinion.

A well known male presenter on six figures that the mum immediately recognised and really enjoyed watching (so likely entertainment.) If you go down the list there's only a handful that would really apply to and some of them have already ruled themselves out.

It would be incredibly cruel to have jwp start with us as our captain in the championship and then lose him after a couple of games. I think they would want to be more definite than that.

I hope they were gentle.

It's whether we can completely replace everything in a handful of weeks and still be as successful as we need to be.

I just think losing very experienced and well liked players from our already young and inexperienced squad is not necessarily positive.
