  1. Tbh I just listened to that and I don't think what he said was that bad. I still think he's a muppet who should leave but that actually interview was alright under the circumstances.
  2. TBF I wanted Ralph to go but he almost certainly would have got us performing better than this and more likely to pick up points.
  3. Anyone got a link?
  4. I think it's obvious now that this is never going to work out. We've got markedly worse since this bloke came in. We'd be much better off binning him now but not a chance would the club have the balls.
  5. He's incredibly unlikeable.
  6. Just when I think we can't get worse, we do.
  7. Get this clueless prick out.
  8. Lots of anti Jones chanting. Good.
  9. His attitude is diametrically opposed to what he showed immediately after he was appointed. Either he's been told to act like that by the club or he's so weak that he's been ground down in just six weeks to this point.
  10. WALOB
  11. What I want is relentless positivity and talking the club and players up even if it comes accross as a bit deluded. I wonder if this is some sort of pr move from the club designed to get the fans to accept we are really lucky to be here. I found Semmens at the fans forum equally odd. I've no idea what possible good this attitude from Jones can do other than maybe trying to shield Jones personally from any criticism. It should be all about the team and its success and not Jones at all. At least we have a world class wristband light show to look forward to...
  12. Oh ffs that is horrendous. What sort of manager says something like that publically after just taking over? How is that defeatist sort of attitude going to help anyone? Uninspiring, weak and dire. Sounds like a broken man already and is night and day from when started just a short time ago. We are proper f*cked.
  13. It's all an elaborate ruse to throw you off the scent.
  14. And if that happens it just proves the point that many were saying earlier about not offering enough to secure a deal.
  15. I actually thought we would get a striker in near the start of the summer given the glaring need for it from January onwards. If we go down this year that decision more than any other will be the root cause.
  16. True but I was absolutely convinced we would sign a striker in the summer. Even when it got to the last day I was sure we would get someone. I suppose it was similar when we failed to replace Fontebut at least then we got in a loan.
  17. Given the last window, I'm really pretty uninterested in links until they've actually signed. I was burnt too much in the summer.
  18. It wasn't about the specific player, it was the principle. Given the situation we now find ourselves, we may now have to pay more than we otherwise would have done. There are clearly instances in the past where our reluctance to spend and our tendency to quibble over small amounts has led to us losing out on players. It's likely that we will not be able to afford to have that attitude so much in this window if we want any hope of survival.
  19. So you're saying there's never been a circumstance where had we paid a bit more we would have secured a signing.
  20. I'd take a loan with option to buy if we survive.
  21. Of course it could happen but its not highly likely.
  22. Obviously needs work but it's better than some teams who sell off everyone of worth. We have a few players who other teams wouldn't buy who could do a job in the championship. Could add Mara and Larios to that squad as well possibly.
  23. Can't See livramento being highly likely to go given his injury. Could still fashion a decent championship team with some new faces and : Bazunu Livramento Lyanco bednarek/Stephens perraud Tella Edozie new signing Djenepo/larios Armstrong new signing/Mara
  24. Sounds like a loan with option to buy apparently.
