One decent proposal is to add a 5% tax on all top flight transfer fees to be distributed to the lower leagues and grassroots. That may have the Twin effect of supporting lower league clubs and preventing sky high fees.

The same people that want to play a weakened team in any European games we may play in or who would prefer finishing 5th to winning a cup.

An horrendous plan that would kill football for me. Typical that it's been suggested by Americans. The fact they have tried to use the financial problems from covid to blackmail football league clubs and force this through is despicable. There's no other owners that I'm aware of but I don't know all the details. I quite deliberately avoid asking for specifics so I don't get my mate in trouble. I have been told that saints have been quite careful and that Kat isn't displeased with things. I think on the face of it it looks dodgy but also we should see the details of things first before jumping to conclusions.
