  1. He would obviously be bought back by Chelsea to play in their first team.
  2. I disagree. We have made necessary investments in players in key positions in the past. Vvd and ings for example.
  3. Yep. It's like they're operating on a different level to the other players. May be harder to spot in a team of megastars like Chelsea or City.
  4. It's interesting isn't it how some payers really divide opinion yet when someone has that stardust it's immediately obvious as soon as they step foot on the pitch. Theo, AOC and Bale all had it too. You don't need any in depth football knowledge to see it.
  5. When I saw Dr Who was back I thought that was quite a pleasant thing to have an old poster back after a long period. I'm regretting that decision.
  6. What a nice problem to have though. We have a player that looks so starkly superior to everyone else that he's just obviously destined for greater things after just two games. Yes we may get £30 million for him and not £100 million but it's still great for us for a few seasons. Assuming we don't get relegated of course!
  7. What do you think Mccarthy is better at? Forster is much better and he's still poor!
  8. People posting replies to people getting annoyed by twats resurrecting banal threads about cars and phones.
  9. Hmm. Not sure if he's worth that cash but it's probably more about what he represents.
  10. I agree but I meant more improvement. I'd like to be confident that he's good enough.
  11. I think everything seems more positive after a good result. I still think we need a decent vestergaard replacement but maybe we can muddle through and Stephens might show some signs of improvement.
  12. I gave him a lot of credit during the match for actually making changes and trying to do something to affect the result. Well blow me down we actually ended up with something. I really hope this is the start of him being proactive and looking to hold what we have once we take a lead.
  13. I'd say quite a few easier than playing United. I didn't say easy.
  14. That may be true but I think we can give the lads credit where its due considering how many times we have thrown away any points. It's fantastic to get a result early in the season and takes some of the pressure of subsequent games. Hopefully we can nab a few results with some easier games coming up.
  15. Good on Ralph for trying something even if it fails.
  16. OK a really decent first half result. All means nothing if we throw it away again after the break. I'll get excited on the final whistle because I've been burnt too many times.
  17. It's not conceding before half time that's normally the issue it's our second half!
  18. When I see this team today I think back to the two 9-0 results and how much support and affection Ralph got from the fans. He's been given so much support but I think this could be the time that the fans start to turn on him. Previously we have blamed the players but I think that now it's increasingly clear that he has a share of the blame for this.
  19. If this is a total thrashing then I'm finally joining the Ralph out camp.
  20. How is Theo starting? No kwp? No Armstrong? Ridiculous.
  21. You're probably right. He probably has a value for marketing.
  22. Turnstile A was one of the greatest things ever. Also benthelegend, tubgirl, javi and saf. Those were the days.
  23. Panic over. Stand down.
  24. Surely this isn't true. If saints get rid of Armstrong then they can fuck right off.
