  1. What if you have two black people with opposing opinions? Which one should you listen to? You realise that it's pretty patronising and demeaning to a group of individuals to arbitrarily group them into a category called "Black people" based on their skin colour and then assign a bunch of opinions to them? Someone like candace owens seems to have a few unusual opinions but she's black should I listen to her? Or is it just the black people who agree with Black Lives Matter, critical race theory and all white people being cursed with the original sin of whiteness?
  2. No it is a number of players who think it is bollocks not all of them. Clearly there's some militant ones or people who don't know any better. What do you reckon then? There's unanimous support?
  3. How do you explain such a 180 degree change from the last game? The only thing that's changed is the emphasis is no longer on black lives matter and is on kick it out instead. What do you reckon? Did the racists have a change of heart.
  4. Weird. They replaced the black lives matter guff with kick it out and there wasn't any booing. It's almost as if the Millwall fans weren't racists after all and were objecting to what they saw as support for black lives matter defacing statues of Churchill and attempting to set fire to the union jack. Curious.
  5. I presume that all those racists at Millwall will be booing the kick it out stuff tonight. If not, why not?
  6. Probably my favourite win of the season so far considering the performance. Much better second half.
  7. It's just a load of racist football fans isn't it. Bit weird though that they weren't booing their black players or any kick it out initiatives isn't it? You'd think they'd be all up for booing that considering how racist they all are.
  8. I'd have to go looking for it and I really can't be bothered. Think it was a yougov one. I don't watch terrestrial telly so things like that don't bother me, but it is amusing how in virtually every advert the family is mixed race. That's more about some advertising execs wanting to offend the least amount of people though rather than some anti white thing.
  9. The sensible thing for the prem to do was to release some new non political initiative at the end of last season and stop all the kneeling. I reckon they are scared of being called racist by certain activists so don't want to tell people to stop. As you point out it will get to a point where they won't be able to stop it.
  10. And that's fine but my point is it hasn't actually achieved anything other thank stoking racial tensions.
  11. What tangible positive impact did it have at the beginning? I saw a poll out recently that said that a majority of Brits thought the campaign had increased racial tensions. No doubt some would think that's a good think but I don't.
  12. Just like that well known self hating black person les ferdinand.
  13. I don't need to make a big show of being anti racist. I'm not racist and I don't need to convince anyone else of that and the vast majority of people are the same. If someone makes a big song and dance out of how anti racist they are then personally I wonder what they've got to hide.
  14. How on earth do you know?
  15. I think the point is that many don't see taking the knee as simply just taking a stance on racism and systemic inequality.
  16. Taking the knee is inextricably linked to the black lives matter movement for many. The damage is already done and is continuing to be done the longer it goes on.
  17. At what point over the past decade has there not been vilification and sanctions for racial abuse? It already exists.
  18. It's certainly more of a nuanced position than thinking that all Millwall supporters who boo are thick racists which is what your position appears to be.
  19. Doesn't seem very smart of the premier league to taint their brand by having any of this confusion around black lives matter and the organisation. Particularly when they have a perfectly good anti racism initiative that didn't suffer from a PR problem and is much less likely to get people's backs up.
  20. That is exactly what they are doing. My brother in law is an ex footballer and has a lot of current footballer mates and the majority view in the changing rooms are that this is all a load of bollocks but they keep their head down and do it because they don't want to get crucified in the press.
  21. Question: have the blm organisation used the same gesture of taking the knee as a sign of support for their organisation? When the taking the knee was at its height, did many social media users express their support for football players taking the knee and then link to a blm fundraiser that was for the organisation and supposedly nothing to do with the gesture the footballers were doing?
  22. Yep and people are allowed to take the knee if that's what they want to do as long as supporters are allowed to show their displeasure at the gesture.
  23. Agreed.
  24. When stadiums are full you can guarantee there will be more of it and it will be more widespread. Sadly those with an agenda will just dismiss that as evidence of racism without wondering if there is any more to it than that.
  25. Where is the evidence that they were verbally attacking the black movement?
