  1. Not that weird. If we got a load of money for him then I'd sell to finance other signings. It's our strongest position and I don't think he's that great anyway.
  2. What are you talking about? That's not how an ambitious managers mind works at all. He may well not go there but it won't be for the reasons you outlined.
  3. Why are people assuming that there wouldn't be a queue of top class managers wanting to go to united? They are the biggest club in the world with huge resources. No class manager is going to be put off by poor form.
  4. Probably because like all managers he has an ego. United are the biggest club in world football and to take them to the top would make him the hottest managerial property. He also would be given time unlike if he took the Madrid job for example. I'd expect him to go there if he was offered it and if he tufns it down it shows a lack of ambition on his part.
  5. Yep. Hughes improved us and kept us up but with hindsight the mistake was giving him a longer term contract after that.
  6. Our best win in the league since?
  7. Even when he's half fit...
  8. Under a bit of pressure now. Need to keep it to 1-1 at half time.
  9. Tbf that was a good move from arsenal. We're still in this.
  10. Get in. Finally after two years I've got some enjoyment out of watching the football
  11. Erm no it isn't. You're a strange fellow.
  12. Not really. A few weeks ago we would have been thrashed whatever team we played and however we set up. Let's trust the new manager and see if he can give us an improved performance with some positives even if we end up losing.
  13. Tough to argue with any of that.
  14. He's like a reverse Samson.
  15. Of course I'm going to take what you said literally. So what your saying is you're seeking a solution that would have a greater backing than 52% of the public? What percentage backing should it receive before it is acceptable to you? You're not going to find one that gets much more than that.
  16. Well that's a silly thing to say. Literally any option we take from now will not be a deal for everyone. There will be massive divisions whatever we end up doing.
  17. Of we did get relegated, romeu is one I'd want to keep.
  18. Yep. I genuinely may not bother to vote at the next election.
  19. Very true but to some weirdos on here that amounts to a mad conspiracy theory.
  20. Mr Rose is a light bulb salesman?
  21. I don't think it will be that bad but I do think there will be severe economic consequences.
  22. Yep. There are obvious downsides to a corbyn government but silly fantasies about giving away the Falklands clearly isn't one of them.
  23. She has to go.
