Coukd you imagine the reaction of someone like big Sam if the chairman decided to start lending his advice to his players over lunch at Everton?
-
Oh do f*ck off. This is getting beyond parody.
-
It's my mate selling them. Do you want to pick them up on the day?

This stadium revamp / improved customer experience.

Monkey chicken wasn't it? -
In the saints end. £25 each or both for £50. Who wants them?
-
To be fair at least the second part had some actual answers that related to the question asked. I really hope they don't come out with some meaningless management speak pledges in February now though just while we are embroiled in a relegation battle. That would be beyond foolish and would highlight their tone deafness still further.

Why does anyone ever care what a bunch of people who happen to support the same club as them choose to do with their time? When I see people walk out I simply shrug my shoulders, they are generally completely unrelated to me and have the right to walk out if that's what they want to do. I tend to leave a couple of minutes early if the game is petering out because I don't want to be stuck at the top of a stand for ages.
-
Disagree. Some of my best memories of supporting the club occurred during those times. It had its frustrating moments of course but the playoffs were very memorable even if we didn't get the result we wanted. Of course it would be preferable to stay up but if we do go down now I do look back on some of the games during that time with some fondness and hopefully we can have something similar this time.
-
Really? I haven't seen much of that recently. What I will find hard will be teams like Bournemouth and Brighton lording it over us.
-
Ohhh Gao's a corrupt b*stard He'll end up in the clink He gave us no investment _______________________ I can't think of a final line. Any ideas?
-
To be fair, if he has been keeping an eye on things over the last few months, I'd be considering stepping in at this point to try to save our season. I wouldn't be trusting Reed or MP with the VVD cash.

What would you do if you were the Gao family?

Just pointing out for the benefit of Always the fact that you have again decided to start mentoning me in your posts. You're weirdly obsessed. -
You had JWP talking about qualifying for Europe last week FFS
-
Exactly this. The turgid atmosphere contrasts with some of the games the year we got relegated from the prem which were some of the best atmospheres ever seen at St Mary's because the players actually cared. Certain performances it is impossible to support because the players aren't trying hard enough.
-
Disagree. Leicester happened when there was still some hope. If we refuse to sack this manager and turn in a similar performance then it will get ugly.
-
Yep and action taken this week would give us a chance to stay up.
-
I think it's worse because we had a poor squad who at least tried to keep us up. This time we have a better quality group of players with more than half of them not trying.
-
Not that any of you REALLY believe it.....

Just stuck 20 quid on it. Should cushion the blow if we do end up going down. -
In contrast, Sheffield United at home was brilliant as was West brom away when we stayed up by the skin of our teeth. Pretty sure we contrived to lose a game at home to Charlton though when they played most of the game with ten men and they scored near the end of the game. That was awful...
-
Better football in the prem wheb we have a half decent team and manager but mostly the atmosphere is very shoddy. I can remember playing Plymouth before the takeover in the championship abd singing oh when the saints in the Itchen for the entirety of the second half which you simply don't get nowadays. There's definitely both pros and cons to playing in both, the biggest con may be if we get into financial trouble again.
-
I'd genuinely be more stoked to watch that team than our current team. Very difficult to muster any enthusiasm for the likes of 2017 Bertrand, romeu, Long, redmond etc.

Yep. Very little point spending that £70 million when you could just keep it and cross your fingers for next season in the championship. -
Can't really call for board upheaval mid season. Force the managers removal now and then get the board out in the summer regardless of outcome.
-
We need some of that passion if we want to salvage the season. Of contribute to any sort of protest of that nature.
