A real slimeball. At least with some of the others they are giving their real opinion even if you disagree. Gove will say whatever will get him the most power.
-
So now the way that we judge if someone has been treated harshly with regards to guilt and innocence is if they are initially found guilty and then have appeals turned down? How is that a thing?

Michael gove won't. He's one of the worst.

Neither side will accept it. May has been terrible and as I said months ago I didn't think we would leave as it won't get through parliament.

People have every right to "protest" although it's very questionable that refusing to buy a saints shirt over this actually amounts to any sort of protest. And please don't try and equate this with Rosa Parks, I know you aren't that silly. The massive disadvantage of social media is it has led to a culture where people would rather shout about how virtuous and how concerned they are about everything whilst actually doing as little as possible to make positive change. You're a prime example- happy to shout about the horrors of big game hunting and loudly chastising others who don't share your same level of faux outrage- but actually doing nothing of any practical use.

Saints to give £250,000 to Gift to Richard Scudamore
hypochondriac replied to Hatch's topic in The Saints
It's not really that surprising is it. If you look at it like a business he's made an absolute shed load of cash for the teams. I wish it wasn't run like that but it is. -
So your protest amounts to not buying a Southampton fc shirt? What tangible difference is that going to make to the proliferation of big game hunting? There's countless other things that you could do about the issue that would make a bigger difference if you actually cared. As I said it's just another meaningless gesture to add to the long list that people like to do- and making sure that others know they have done it of course- since the advent of social media that makes them feel good about themselves. In the real world it achieves nothing.

Stopping under armor from sponsoring this type of thing isn't going to stop this type of thing from happening. Like a lot of silly initiatives, it's more about some people trying to make themselves feel good. In reality any supposed boycott by saints fans is going to make precisely zero difference to anything.

I'm going to buy two shirts and tell them that one is on behalf of forum user "Southamptonfc"

That's true but I think if we lose to Fulham then they've got to be at least thinking about it.
-
We are away so have a better chance of a win than if we were at home.
-
This basically.
-
But you could go to Fulham in the neutral end so you could still attend the game if you wanted to.
-
We obviously aren't going to buy another striker in January. We badly need something else in midfield but we would probably have to get rid of a couple of the others first. Maybe Davis and jwp? Unlikely but one can dream.

Michael Obafemi - Official: Signs for Swansea
hypochondriac replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Gabbi has always been a good player that we have criminally underused of played him out of position. -
So we have to beat one of united, arsenal, west ham or man City at home if we want to beat someone before the new year...
-
I don't think we needed this interview to tell us that.
-
He says he's responsible for the decisions not that he made the decisions on his own. Who knows though with his waffle.
-
Well someone said they had been training at the stadium. That's a minor change.
-
Do fans of other clubs have to endure this sort of interminable corporate babble or is it unique to us?
-
Sadly it doesn't look like they will be dumping Ralph any time soon.
-
Oh joy. Another load of meaningless cack from Ralph that says nothing. Just what I wanted.
-
We have been happy to accept mediocrity for two years at least.

It's weird that soggy keeps talking like everyone is saying what a fantastic person Ched Evans is. No one has said that. I'm not sure there is much or any disagreement at all, he's an idiot and seemingly an unpleasant person. It's the being found guilty of rape and going to prison that was the problem for many. Being unpleasant afterwards isn't relevant.

Crap I meant pellegrino!
