  1. A great win and finally we played differently to how we have done for weeks. We actually moved the ball quickly and had some good passing movements. Bit disappointed that it took injuries and suspensions to players to force changes that allowed hojberg and Austin to show what they can do. We really should have played Austin against Liverpool but it appears he has proved a point now and I would be playing him- fitness permitting- at every opportunity. I now want to see more of the same against City. I expect a loss but I want to see the same style of football and preferably the same players. If we revert back to the same football and players that have failed so far this season then i will still want pellegrino out. Please keep this going saints.
  2. OK 'mate' whatever you say. I mean it's not like we have years of posts from the original poster which may give an indication as to his intentions.
  3. No I mean more like seeing how suggestible the fans can be and how behaviour can be influenced.
  4. You shouldn't assume someone's gender identity. It is an act of violence.
  5. It was a joke...
  6. No offence Guan and I know you've been on here for years, but I'm a little suspicious about your recent posts. It comes across a bit like you are doing some coordinated effort in service of the club. You're disagreements with K Billy are strange too.
  7. Thats a really defeatist attitude and really if we are going to sack him anyway, we might as well give the new man as much time as possible.
  8. Somethibg like spark or leaf would work. Ambiguous enough to get people questioning it fro the outset- particularly if you dye your hair orange or something.
  9. That is absolutely superb. Genuinely better than almost every chant we have from the terraces.
  10. I actually think that would be a good solution. Certainly preferable to Mx or something else like that.
  11. You would have no way of telling any of those things from posts on a forum. You can quite easily see that someone displays signs of autism from a posting style and a tendency to take everything literally and robotically over a number of years.the evidence is the number of posts.
  12. In rare cases where there is a defect, these people would have a disorder. It's not some third gender in the same way that if a baby is born without an arm they aren't a new class of human. I think we are talking about two different things here anyway. Intersex and hermaphrodites etc deserve understanding and help. People who pretend that there's no such thing as male and female and who consequently decide they are grey gender or gender fluid or a non binary animal kin need an entirely different type of help. They do real damage to actual transsexuals with gender dysphoria who just want to transition from one gender to another.
  13. I was waiting for that when I wrote it...
  14. It's OK of it gives us an opportunity to bash all those people who blindly love Christians on here.
  15. How dare you make fun of soggy whilst people are dying. Whenever a tragedy occurs, you must stop your mickey taking of soggy immediately. That's the rules.
  16. Sounds like it's possibly gang related
  17. Come across a few transtrenders in my time but then I did work in a university for a while so it was inevitable. As you rightly state, the vast majority recognise male and female genders. If an individual is born male but decides they are female then out of politeness I will almost certainly refer to them as she despite them still being biologically male. If I were to meet a class of people who all want to be addressed by some different pronoun then it's likely I'll be attempting to avoid pronoun use all together but I certainly won't be indulging their delusion by using a host of different pronouns like Zim, zer and they or whatever else they fancied. Particularly because some studies actually say that this approach does more harm than good in the long term. Laws in the US and Canada have shown that it certainly isn't just about simple politeness and no doubt certain people would love for laws of this kind to be introduced here in a similar fashion. Let's hope not.
  18. Thabks. Summed up my thoughts far better than I could.
  19. That's utterly insane. Are you seriously expecting the general public to remember a potentially limitless set of pronouns everytime they converse with someone just because they've decided they don't fancy Mr or Mrs? It's got nothing to do with politeness, it's totally unworkable.
  20. Thanks but I've read my fair share of articles stating the opposite. This for example: https://wis-wander.weizmann.ac.il/life-sciences/researchers-identify-6500-genes-are-expressed-differently-men-and-women
  21. So where does it stop then? What if everyone were to decide that Mr and Mrs no longer applies and all want to be addressed by a different prefix? Would we all have to bring a handbook for every social interaction? You can't just arbitrarily decide that you want to be addressed by a random prefix because you've decided you aren't a man or a woman.
  22. I fixed it for you. Anyone who truly believes they are some third gender deserves sympathy and support to enable them to come to terms with their delusion, but the sad fact is that many are transtrenders who play make believe for attention. Sufferers of gender dysphoria need understanding and compassion whilst they move from male to female and vice versa. If you speak to most of these poeple, they are equally frustrated with this trend of labelling yourself as xir, xim, Mx, x etc or any other invented label because it demeans their very real condition and turns it into a joke.
  23. Personally I have no problem with being accommodating of others except when you get to the point of compelling speech, made up words and denying biology. Non binary people is an invention popularised over the last few years and used by people who want to feel special and gain points on the oppression scale. This contrasts with transgender people who are transitioning from one of the two genders to the other one and they absolutely deserve respect and understanding for what is an extremely difficult condition.
