The trial version only let's you cast for a few seconds. Works perfectly with me so not sure why it wouldn't. It's still great though

If you have an android phone then get allcast. It's brilliant.

TBH I never use my smart tv settings. Just buy a chromecast and then you can cast video, streams and Netflix to the telly.
