  1. Every time this comes up it shows that people misunderstand what each player represents. They are era defining players. Yes Fonte has had more of an impact than keegan but keegan definitely represents that era and should stay for that reason
  2. Yep. If he mugged us off and left this summer I doubt everyone would be so keen!
  3. This basically. They generally come back to bite you on the bum. Looks like a decent signing on the face of it though.
  4. Both of those choices are rubbish. I'd prefer Liam Fox or Crabb
  5. I disagree. It's not that we have overestimated how good they have been, it's that they have not performed as well when outside of our setup.
  6. I think the statement that mane is replaceable will come back to bite some people on the bum. He's one of the best attacking players we have ever had and will be sorely missed.
  7. What do we say when he is rubbish? Claude poo hell?
  8. Have you read the reaction on social media, from many remain commentators in the media etc
  9. No one was smugly gloating. Lots of people are saying it's the end of the world though, maybe you should be saving your advice about waiting for them.
  10. Sorry to break it to you but the sky hasn't fallen in.
  11. Odd thing to say. Icke is a nutter but that doesn't mean that every opinion he has is nutty. Most of what was in that post was factual.
  12. That isn't where I got it from. Clown.
  13. "A Prime Minister resigned. The £ plummeted. The FTSE 100 lost significant ground. But then the £ rallied past February levels, and the FTSE closed on a weekly high: 2.4% up on last Friday, its best performance in 4 months. President Obama decided we wouldn't be at the 'back of the queue' after all and that our 'special relationship' was still strong. The French President confirmed the Le Touquet agreement would stay in place. The President of the European Commission stated Brexit negations would be 'orderly' and stressed the UK would continue to be a 'close partner' of the EU. A big bank denied reports it would shift 2,000 staff overseas. The CBI, vehemently anti-Brexit during the referendum campaign, stated British business was resilient and would adapt. Several countries outside the EU stated they wished to begin bi-lateral trade talks with the UK immediately. If this was the predicted apocalypse, well, it was a very British one. It was all over by teatime. Not a bad first day of freedom."
  14. Yep. I thought leave had lost last night and I simply said never mind let's move on. It's not the apocalypse but the way some people have been going on this morning it's like it's the end of the world.
  15. Yep. Get a few of them out and then join a trading block again which is what it was supposed to be in the first place.
  16. I was going to bed but I'm not sure I can now...
  17. Hartlepool 70% out.
  18. What a shame. Entirely predictable though. Never mind.
  19. Tbf he can't win either way. I think that's pretty classy to at least try to leave on good terms.
  20. 55 remain 45 leave
  21. Indeed and I look at the current rugby union coach and how he has transformed that team and I wonder somethibg similar can't happen with the football team.
  22. Yes that's my point. It's not that I'm expecting us to be the best, simply I want us to show the potential we have.
  23. Wheb was the last time we smashed even a rubbish team at a tournament? 1996?
  24. I had both on. Excellent goal by Croatia
  25. Caroline lucas accomplished that much better. Regardless, remain finally performed well.
