  1. I'm not sure what labour can do tbh. Half of the MPs won't accept spending cuts -some of which are necessary -and half the electorate aren't going to accept big tax rises without any spending cuts.
  2. Lots of talk of an imminent leadership challenge just 18 months in (although more likely after May imo.)
  3. It's their flagship news show. With someone like the BBC you just can't be doing shit like that. I'm sure it was a mistake but it's one mistake on top of loads of others recently. They really don't help themselves. I used to love the bbc and it has a very difficult job but it has really gone downhill. It should concentrate on what it can do differently and what sets it apart from others. That's certain types of drama that is important to the UK, news as impartially as it can and maybe some of the Attenborough type stuff if others don't do it. Also local radio is great and parts of it's online offering. Everything else it shouldn't get involved in.
  4. It's not really about Trump though is it.
  5. The difference is the licence fee.
  6. It's great if you want to share and always appreciated. Little tantrums and flouncing off because people aren't prostrating themselves and kissing your feet is pathetic though.
  7. That's not the only claims in the memo either.
  8. That's bollocks.
  9. I'm pretty sure the main issues weren't that they were being too friendly to the right in politics. It has rather a lot more to do with the left leaning bias at the bbc.
  10. Thanks. Just over 6 posts a day isn't all the time. Plus I was at the game yesterday and drinking afterwards so haven't had the chance to check. Fingers crossed the info is correct as they'd be mad not to go for him if he's available.
  11. What ITK is this?
  12. No idea. I'm not on here all the time. Good news if true.
  13. Rodgers would be a good choice imo but I can't see him wanting to come here.
  14. I'd see him playing in front of those guys. In that position currently we have Azaz who is very hit and miss.
  15. How is O'Neil better ?
  16. Which would be ridiculous as Liverpool reserves attacked us in a way that almost no other team in this league will do.
  17. In what way has O'Neil been inspiring?
  18. Great news. Keep it up lads.
  19. Agreed. I wouldn't be upset if he got the job.
  20. I never insinuated or said that. I said his signing would be divisive and that some people would have a problem with it. I also said I think there were better candidates who would be more unifying.
  21. Not exactly a high bar
  22. That's irrelevant and not the point I was making
  23. Those saying it doesn't matter that he played for Portsmouth for a long time, is considered something of a legend there and has history on social media supporting them must surely concede that it does matter to some of the fan base and that in itself will create some division. If he has a difficult patch or doesn't get results quickly he's not going to get understanding and patience in the same way that another less divisive managerial appointment would do.
  24. Except he did hold it down for three seasons, particularly good the first season we he took them into the playoffs from 21st.
