It was a good start and he deserves some credit but the manner of the results (lets remember it's been two games, one of which he had a couple of games to do anything) is pertinent to the discussion. You could argue that QPR away was comparable to the sheffield united game in that they were two poor teams low on confidence and we managed to scrape over the line in both when we could easily have lost given how much we gave to the opposition. No one can seriously laud the sheffield wednesday performance as our most comfortable win in 18 months as if that is a big achievement. They have half a team and are forced to play their third game in a week with the same group of players because they have no alternatives. It's most likely the easiest team we have played over the last two years.

Not sure I agree. He needs to perform at least averagely well and keep us out of the relegation zone or the club will make a change. I do wonder though if he performs alright over the next week if they will announce anything or just keep him as a permanent interim.

If that were completely true you won't feel even a flicker of anger if Charlton score the winner in the 96th minute and Jones knee slides in front of the away fans and prostrates himself whilst his players bow in front of him. IMO it's very obvious that loads of high profile figures including Trump were up to no good with Epstein. He supplied them with young beautiful women who agree to sleep with them on demand in exchange for a lavish lifestyle with no strings attached. That's going to be attractive to a whole host of high profile people. You make a good point. Eventually one of Sports Republic's risky gambles is going to pay off and they will be able to live off it forever. I reckon at least another three or four risky gambles before that happens though.

Genuinely I missed those bits. Which posts specifically? I saw one moved from a different thread about ending up with an lgbtq manager which I thought was a bit of an odd comment. I expect it's because some of the people on the fan board appear to be lgbtq themselves or have stated that their priorities are that sort of thing.
