Does it really matter if its historically the worst ever or not? The point is he's incredibly unpopular either the worst ever or close to it. You do appear to get quite defensive at the idea that Labour are doing a shit job of things - I didn't think they'd be great but they have done quite a bit worse than I expected. I know you think they haven't done a bad job so far but clearly you're in the minority there.

Quarshie is an example in my opinion of good recruitment. A promising player with potential and good attributes signed in an area where we already have decent strength. He isn't the finished article but we don't need him to be. He's signed to hopefully develop with us. The problem isn't necessarily signing Downs although I would question the amount we paid for him, the issue was that we are so light in particular attributes up front that he is playing when he doesn't deserve to. We should be in a position up front like we are at centre back where we have strength and can ease him in to see if he actually has anything to offer at all.

Because they're a bit desperate and need him to start working so that their decision not to get a striker doesn't look so mental.

I don't want either THB or Stephens in the starting 11. I don't want either keeper really but that's the choice we have given we never bothered to sign a good one in the summer for some reason. The choice is between the two and McCarthy is clearly better despite his deficiencies.

If any of Bazunu and Stephens -maybe THB - are in the starting 11 on Saturday then Still deserves to lose his job for that alone.

Fraser slows us down and it's about the team not individuals. He shouldn't be in the starting 11 for me despite his usefulness in his adaptability.

McCarthy Jelert Wood Edwards Quarshie Manning Downes Charles Armstrong Scienza Archer Would be my team for Saturday I think until we work out a way of playing well with four at the back. Bring on Fellows and Robinson. None of Bazunu Mads THB Stephens Wee man Downs Should be in the team but you know the majority will play. If Stephens keeps getting picked instead of Wood then it wouldn't surprise me if some people go all Jermaine Wright over him and start booing when his name is announced.

For the money absolutely. He was clearly third choice though after the Armenian and the bloke from Coventry. Should have not bothered and used the money for a striker.

I agree but I still think this is a million miles better than the weekend. Had we played this team on Saturday I think we would have done better.

Square pegs in square holes for a change. OK we will lose this game and maybe get well beaten but finally, finally this has shown us we have some shoots that we can build on. Armstrong has to play in his best position, Wood has to play, Scienza looks interesting, Jander further forward is a good idea. Stephens and THB should be dropped with Armstrong captain imo.

The argument seems to be that there are a lot of other illegal immigrants who are dangerous who should leave as well. I expect if you asked ICE they would agree.

Well I'd rather try something else given that the existing personnel aren't performing. We have options so need to experiment.
