Lallana was pretty good too so that's half a team.
-
Could sell him in Jan for 7 million or something tbf.
-
Which is fair enough. Can't say he doesn't deserve it. Not sure we need him though to be honest.
-
I'd say wolves and Everton look more likely to be down there at the moment.
-
Worth pointing out again how special Dibling is. He must have been by far the most fouled player today. It was almost constant.
-
I thought bbd did OK when he came on. People on here thought he was shite but I disagree. The concerning thing is they were the worst team we have played this year and we still couldn't win.
-
Hard to shake the feeling that a better team would have capitalised on our errors and scored a few today.
-
Got spanked for me first half and we're lucky to go in winning. We're the better team second half and they got a jammy equaliser at the death.
-
A point that feels like an awful defeat.
-
Fernandes is an excellent player.
-
I very much doubt it's going to stay 1-0 but if it is at full time I would take that 100%. The worry is that one of these Ipswich chances is going to get buried and I can't see us creating much. My dearest wish is for Archer to get a goal.
-
I thought Ramsdale goal kicks worked well mixing them up last week. Inexplicable why we have decided to mostly play short this week when we didn't do it previously. Makes no sense and a better team would have punished us already.
-
Thought we were second best for most of that half and Ipswich could have had a few but I'll take it. So important to go in at half time one ahead.
-
Lallana starting then.

Gloucester saint is just trying to be all things to all people. He's the centrist candidate of saintsweb. -

Good. Let's hope others on here can similarly judge labour on their own terms without referring to a different political party. -

Why are you drawing an equivalence? The people on here constantly bringing up the Tories since the moment Labour got elected are the big Labour supporters. Surely the aim should be for them not to have even a whiff of corruption in their own right? -

I agree with that. In a few years this won't be remembered unless the abd news keeps on coming and then it could be one of many things piled on top of each other. I expect Starmer believes that if he can improve the economy that most other things will be forgiven which is probably true. -

I heard a never ending amount about tory sleaze whilst they were in power. It's one big reason why they lost spectacularly a couple of months ago. What's your point? -

I doubt a potential candidate of the opposition is anywhere near as newsworthy as the actual prime minister. -

I posted some nice words about Gloucester Saint yesterday but it appears I was wrong. I hadn't realised but he's apparently a gutless prick and a fucking pussy. My mistake clearly. -

You're acting as if labour hadn't used the press at every opportunity during opposition to drone on about tory corruption, cronyism and lack on integrity - which is fair comment - and now people can point to examples of the same from labour so of course it's going to be highlighted. They were quite happy to moralise when the shoe was on the other foot and now you have the frankly laughable sight of someone like Jess Phillips who hasn't stopped going on about the tories going on telly to try to defend Starmer for exactly the type of thing she has been up in arms about. Like I said, Starmer is an intelligent chap and should have predicted how things like this would be received. The fact he didn't is the most baffling part of the whole thing. Even if you think it doesn't matter, it was really politically stupid. -

I don't actually care about it but I do find it quite amusing given how much they banged on about the dodgy tories accepting similar types of gifts. No one gives someone 70k for clothes just because and doesn't expect anything from that person down the line. The defence from some seems to be "well it is t as bad or as shameless as the tories" which isn't really any sort of defence at all. -
