I said that by the end of the summer we would probably be looking for another five players in total and you said "we're not signing that many players". He was also at his best when played with a support striker and it seems we have a couple of those in BBD and Archer. I don't expect us to and maybe we can't justify his wages but if tall paul and Mars both goes I still think we are a bit light.

I know many disagree but I'd still try again for Ings if Stewart isn't really going to play much again. I don't think BBD is really a striker and I'd still worry about having enough up top.

Well other than a keeper we don't have an urgent need for other positions so I don't see how. Once striker and dm are in place then it's only keeper and AM we need and maybe a winger would be nice to have.

I still have some faint hope for Jack clarke. Expect if we get o'riley that will be it for significant fees though and I'd be happy with that!

Even if we sell Downes and THB we'd have Charles a year older and probably be able to get modest replacements for both. Should put us in a better position than when we went down last time at any rate.
