not sure what this post means??? I am not disputing that you saw it. I am not saying Howe has not been offered it. What I am saying is that there is no quote there from either the club or party involved, in this case Howe, and with all bull**** around at the moment I am inclined not to believe him, (but would never doubt you;))

Funny press always considered Brown and Adkins good and likely candidates, sounds like both interviewed and potentially happy to drop to 3rd division for us and Cortese. But on here, Cortese has failed if he doesn't appoint O'Neill, Keegan or Shearer - who else around the country would have thought them likely?

is it better to have a manager who has got teams promoted twice (to their highest ever league position) and relegated once (in other words getting a team to over perform) or a bigger name who has got a big team relegated (underperform). Hard one in appointing managers but certainly feel adkins sensible choice.

only thing I know for a fact is that Brown was interviewed and said he wants to be part of our set up and work for Cortese. One vote for him! Guess someone will accept so that will be at least two interviewed who were ok with it. Howe also sounded to me like he wanted it. Who are these one or two choices who have turned him down?

think most people have thought that for days, but not certain yet, never know with Cortese, and solent reporting others maybe spoken to

can't say I have read or heard anything bad about him and can't see any reason why not a good appointment. Don't know too much about his character but hopefully Cortese does after talks
