not sure what you are disagreeing with? Ok we had one poor RB on loan for half a season, now we have two good ones. Rather than blindly backing Pardew I am actually saying this is a Fing good squad and team and Pardew should be expected to get us promoted with it - even if we don't sign another player.

agree, Antonio would have been a good signing - just don't get some of the comments on here building him up and saying we should be paying over £1m for a player to be on the bench in league 1!

Think Ox-C has more potential, already scored for us this season. I wonder, if he keeps developing, how much Antonio would have been used later on in the season even if we had signed him.

think it was something like 3 league goals, not many assists. I would much rather we had him on the bench and hope we do sign him - but think there are probably a lot of players out there as good, or better and cheaper - remember he came to us as pretty much a 19 year old non-league player

danger of getting greedy and going for the man city solution of throwing more players at the squad in the hope it will work. the side we had at the end of last season showed it was good enough - and that was without a RB! (we now have two) we have lost our speedy impact sub - but AP says one is to come, plus we now have Ox-C. we have added Guly for competition at CM I also expect more to come from Seaborne and Martin as they mature. Much of our squad are still to peak - Lallana, Schneiderlin, and Puncheon. I would like a star CM, and another CB to Fonte's standard, another big CF - but don't think we should need them - this squad should be competing for the title if players and manager perform to their potential and we are not very unlucky with injuries.
