Nothing wrong with waiting to see how he will do, but he is 30. Not old, around the latter stages of peak for a player and could easily have 4 years or more at a good level. Its an irrelevant points, as I said would you really say it for Alonso, Gerrard or the much older Lampard? No. You were looking for a moan. He was not released by his club his contract ended and they offered him a new one. Judge when you see him, but there are a lot of positive facts about him on here and yours seems short on fact.

I would like this to continue, would particularly like a CM to run this campaign, but we have improved on the team we had for the latter part of last season - which was good enough for promotion.
