Hope you are playing devils advocate rather than believe all of that. Don't think anyone on here has raved totally about Cortesse nor said he hasn't made mistakes - he clearly has. BUT: your list omits 1) appointed a very good manager for this level 2) signed excellent players 3) not sold one good player 4) improved academy 5) talked positively about plans for stadium and training ground 6) won lots of games!

not only good to have other fans but good to have football thread! I know some prefer the Cortesse threads (and only post on them!) but good to strt voicing some football opinions!

reviews when he was released by (Norwich?) fans was that he is pretty good but loses concentration. Think that is fair- he did some good one touch link up play with Puncheon down the right but then the game would pass him by - not good enough defender for his level imho.

I also hate the term selling club. Could Man U afford to keep Ronaldo? Selling club is used as a derogoratory term, in reality there is a ladder with probably two non-selling clubs and the rest somewhere below

think what I like is he seems to spot the type of player and position that needs strengthening and does. No reason to suggest he won't replace Papa and Antonio - after all it was him who brought them in!

Point I was making - football is about the game, winning, enjoying, entertaining etc. There were no matches against Lowe when we got to the cup final- rightly so. He was the same man with same attitude. If Cortesse delivers a successful team virtually all fans will be happy with him

because its a passtime watching/supporting a football team. THat is how I judge them.

If I can't afford to go it will. I think season ticket prices set by Cortesse are very fair.

Was last season one of your most enjoyable as a saints fan? Are you looking forward to this season more than you have in recent years? Do you enjoy watching Lallana, Lambert and Fonte? Think people expect too much and look too deeply

I didn't ignore it. I was interested in how our prices compared and after finding out put it on here. We also had renewal discount. We should have had March Madness and installment plans but we haven't. I don't like the idea of fees on top of prices. Really don't mind what you think (of me or Cortesse) for several reasons but please don't think this thread was for your benefit or interest at all - it wasn't, you were not even in my thoughts!

Stu There was no comment, just facts. I cherry picked in that went for some of the bigger for league 1 clubs. All ticket prices are correct and are prices currently available to read on their sites. I do have an opinion of you but not obsessed, you are not that important to me - sorry to disappoint.

not going to get into boring tit for tat petty arguement as not sure what point "Dave" is trying to prove. The first post is correct. Those are the ticket prices. There are actually also some more expensive options at other clubs but I ignored those at seemed more executive type seats. I have not included anyones - including ours - renewal/early discounts. I would like to have paid less, and would like the ground to be full. However, for the area we are based in, the quality of the stadium, the players, the fact we are favorite for the league (Chelsea??!!) I would not have complained if we were the most expensive.

All prices for new tickets, non-family centre. why someone would react in this way is very strange and insecure but best ignored.
