hadn't notice that - 2 points off Leeds who a few people on here were saying were miles ahead of us.
  3. if - lol! This is what it is about, you have had your -what is it 5 years?? in a lifetime above us - and the quicker for fall, and the quicker we rise and your short spell as the better team will be over and quickly forgotten.
  4. 12,000 will look very lonely in 40,000 stadium

about time for one of these! JPT Final Carlisle won 4-1 League Norwich A won 2-0 Wycombe A drew 0-0 Walsall H won 5-1 Huddersfield H won 5-0 Tranmere A lost 1-2 Leeds H won 1-0 Swindon H lost 0-1 MK Away won 3-0 Hartlepool H won 3-2 Brighton A drew 2-2 Orient H won 2-1 Charlton H won 1-0 Bristol A won 5-1 League played 13, won 9, drawn 2, lost 2, goals for 30, goals against 10, points 29 if carried on over 42 games that would be: played 42, won 29, drawn 6ish, lost 6ish, goals for 97, against 32, points 94 compared with Norwich played 42, won 26, drawn 8, lost 8, goals for 71, against 45, points 86. Just a bit of fun!
  9. being a sad stato love that! Will change very quickly after next two games
  10. we would have had great world cup teams!
  11. I still wonder if these debts, other than football and HMRC ones are real. Therefore wonder if all they really need to find is: 30% of HMRC football debts total of less than £20m for a CCC club? Not bad
  12. they are mitigating factors. The strength of mitigation can be debated, clearly if we are in relegation zone and Pardew moaned about some of those we would laugh at him, but higher up the league and suddenly having injury crisis on top of other factors then it would be different. Are you 100% happy to keep him now? If not, why not? If you are, why don't we wait and see how it goes!!
  13. so if they pay next to nothing to other creditors and somehow get that agreed, to escape further penalties they have to pay football debts in full - how much are these? So guess this is the minimum amount they need to find in someone's pocket?
  14. sorry, not sure what you mean, am I being thick?
  15. if we are top at Christmas he should stay if we are bottom then he should go The support he should be given by NC will decreas the lower we are, but its not an exact science as factors such as these will detract from the support he has at any given league position: a lot of money spent lack of entertaining football low crowds poor team spirit conversely he will have more support in any given position if: suffered bad injuries we lose good players to other clubs loose coaching staff etc playing good football good crowds few unlucky results. Not saying these justify the extremes but show its hard to predict the exact circumstances. We can only judge as how we are now. My view is that I am 100% happy to keep Pardew and hope we enter a period of success based on stability.
  16. that's what I thought strange - is it normal to talk about a CVA with creditors before you don't know who, or how much is coming in to fund it?
  17. not being allowed to buy something when you don't have the money to pay for it? Hardly an embargo or punishment. Whether you want them to be punished or not, or feel they deserve it or not, they have not been punished nor made efforts to sort the problem out.
  18. when do they need to get it agreed to avoid points penalty? Start of season?
  19. hopefully just finalists
  20. you were very quiet at St Marys.
  21. so they have got away with it? they were always going to get relegated this season so points off made no difference. they got through fa cup using players they could not afford, paid loan fees when on transfer ban. will be debt free, cup finalists, in CCC next season. They would have snapped your hand off for that a year ago
  22. Even when we started the season slowly and disappointingly it was clear Pardew was doing a good job - team's spirit and confidence visibly improving, decent tactics, excellent signings and players wanting to play for him.
  23. true - 6th at the time
  24. Few months ago there was criticism that we hadn't beaten enough of the top teams. 12 games ago we were facing a daunting run of 12 games when six of the games were against teams higher than us (we were 12th) We beat all 6 of them. Norwich away, won 2-0, (top ) Huddersfield, won 5-0, (7th 12 games ago, 6th when we played them) Leeds, won, 1-0,( 2nd) MK, won, 3-0, (8th) Orient, won, (11th 12 games ago, 16th when we played them) Charlton, won 1-0, (3rd 12 games ago, 5th when we played them)
  25. soccerette... why mock???
